Sheffield United saw their nine-match winning home Championship run ended by Burnley on Boxing Day, but a home game against West Brom looks a good opportunity for them to get back to winning ways.
The Baggies have won just three of their last 17 league games and have had to cope with the loss of their manager Carlos Corberan, who has left to take charge of La Liga outfit Valencia.
Sheffield United to win - 19/20
United's run of 11 Championship games without defeat was ended by a 2-0 defeat to Burnley on Boxing Day, but Chris Wilder’s team should be confident they can get back to winning ways when they face West Brom at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
That defeat led to the Blades relinquishing the lead in the second tier, but they had won their previous nine home matches without conceding.
The only other points they have dropped at their South Yorkshire base came in their opening game, when they surrendered a 2-0 lead to draw against QPR.
Confidence should still be high even after their defeat to the Clarets as Albion were rocked by the departure of manager Corberan on Christmas Eve as he headed home to Valencia.
Chris Brunt, Damia Abella and Boaz Myhill led the team for their 2-1 defeat at Derby County on Thursday and it would be understandable if they were still disjointed.
They have won three of their last 17 league matches - 10 have been draws - as they have slipped to eighth in the table and after winning their first three away games at QPR, Stoke City and Portsmouth, their only success in their subsequent nine road outings came at Hull City.
The Midlands outfit are going through a difficult festive period and facing one of the second tier’s leading lights is not ideal, so expect United to claim a win.
Kieffer Moore to score at any time - 13/5
The Blades attack has been hit by the unavailability of top goalscorer Tyrese Campbell, who was in a rich vein of form before pulling his hamstring against the Baggies three weeks ago.
Fortunately, Wales striker Kieffer Moore has stepped up to the plate and it would not be a surprise if he found the net.
He was on the mark recently against struggling Plymouth and then scored both goals in the 2-0 win at his former club Cardiff City.
Moore has had 13 goal efforts in his last four Championship starts and looks capable of making his mark again.
Gustavo Hamer to be booked - 3/1
Midfielder Gustavo Hamer is one of United's most influential players with five goals and five assists this season, but he is also prone to coming to the attention of referees.
The Dutch playmaker has been cautioned eight times this season, with his latest booking coming in the Boxing Day defeat to the Clarets.
He committed four fouls and received a yellow card when these two teams met in the Midlands earlier this month and he could fall foul of the officials once again in what looks set to be a keenly contested second-tier clash.
