Al Ittihad are back on top of the Saudi Pro League after they made it six wins out of seven with a 2-1 victory at home to Al-Fateh. The league leaders had found themselves a goal down in the first-half but goals from Romarinho and former Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante completed the turnaround.
They knocked Al-Hilal off the top of the table after they could only muster a 1-1 draw at winless Damac, with Malcom's early strike cancelled out by Nicolae Stanciu in the second-half.
28/1 title shots Al-Taawon kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 2-1 win over Al-Raed, as did Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Moussa Dembele each bagging a brace in a 4-3 win over Al-Ta'ee.
Elsewhere, Al Ahli lost ground at the top as they were beaten 4-3 away at Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, with the Portuguese great scoring twice.
