Notts County will hope to get their League Two play-off hopes back on track when they head to Salford City for a Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
Injuries have badly hampered County’s progress and they are winless in their last five games as a result.
They travel to Salford desperate to pick up a victory that would see them back in the promotion race and they face an Ammies side looking to bounce back after falling 1-0 to Gillingham last time out.
Under 2.5 goals - 17/20
Goals have been something of an issue for Salford this season, they are the lowest scorers in the top half of the table after netting just 17 times in 18 games.
That problem reared its head once more last time out as they lost 1-0 away to Gillingham despite having 68 per cent of possession.
Five of their last six games have gone under 2.5 goals and the same could be on the cards when they host County, who have been solid at the back.
Only three teams have conceded fewer goals than the visitors’ 18 and they may get dragged into a cagey affair by the home side.
After a strong start to the season the Magpies have been struggling without two of their best attacking talents as Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley have gone down injured.
The Magpies are winless in their last five outings in all competitions and have scored just three times in their last four league matches.
With both teams not in their most fluent attacking form and, with just four points separating them in the league table, this could be a low-scoring encounter.
The last time County visited this ground they ran out 2-0 winners against the 10 men of Salford and this looks set to be a similarly low-scoring affair, take the unders.
David McGoldrick to score at any time - 5/2
With the injuries to County’s Jones and Crowley, veteran David McGoldrick has had to step up and provide the goals for the Magpies.
The former Sheffield United man has netted seven times in 10 league starts and looks their likeliest route to goal once more in this clash.
With Jones on the sidelines, McGoldrick is also the visitors’ penalty-taker and netted from the spot last time out so looks a solid pick to get on the scoresheet once again.
Draw - 9/4
Stalemates have plagued County this season, only Bromley and Colchester have shared the spoils more times than the Magpies and, as a result, they are ninth in the table despite only two teams losing fewer games than them.
However with some of their key attacking players missing and after suffering a couple of bruising defeats recently, they may be happy to settle for a point on the road.
Salford, equally, have been solid on home soil and will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to the Gills last time out.
A draw would be a decent result for both teams and looks like a big runner as these two do battle in this lunchtime kick-off.
