Celtic, 16 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, have one hand firmly on a 13th league title in 14 years and their fans would fully expect them to secure a routine win against Ross County at Victoria Park.
But County have come to life since Christmas and will be hoping to acquit themselves well against Brendan Rodgers' charges.
Ross County +2 Handicap Result - 6/4
Ross County have lost each and every one of their last 13 fixtures against Celtic, so many will consider it fanciful that the Staggies might make it 14th time lucky at Victoria Park.
Certainly, the league table offers little encouragement to the 14/1 hosts, with County down in 10th place in the table and 31 points behind the league leaders.
Celtic have lost just three matches in the last calendar year and when they welcomed County to Glasgow at the end of November, they battered them 5-0.
But while Celtic do remain a class apart from the pack, there are still grounds for believing that this could turn into a tricky assignment for Brendan Rodgers' men.
First, Celtic's workload is particularly debilitating. This will be their ninth fixture in the last 30 days (it will be County's seventh) and while Don Cowie's men have had their feet up this week, the Hoops will have had less than three days to recover from Wednesday night's 2-0 win over Dundee United.
And Celtic aren't unbeatable - their last eight games have produced four wins but also a 3-0 loss at Rangers and draws against the Gers again - in the League Cup final - and Dinamo Zagreb and Dundee United.
They may be a free-scoring machine, but interestingly, they have suffered three blanks on each of their last three road trips.
Ross County will have to produce something special just to compete with the champions, never mind dream of anything better.
But they have come to life at just the right time with three wins and a draw in their last four matches, kicking off the New Year with back-to-back wins at Aberdeen and Kilmarnock.
Injuries are starting to clear up - Eli Campbell and Will Nightingale are the latest back in full training while Liberian international midfielder Nohan Kenneh has slotted straight back in after returning to the club on loan from Hibs.
Celtic are the better team and ought to win this - but it cannot be guaranteed. Six of their last ten matches have not been won by two goals or more, so in-form County +2 on the handicap at 6/4 looks a valid call.
Both Teams to Receive A Card - No - 6/5
In terms of the number of cards issued, Ross County and Celtic are the best-behaved teams in the Scottish top flight.
Celtic have picked up a mere 23 cards - all yellow - in their 21 league games, while Ross County have been shown 41 cards - 39 yellows and two reds.
In the 5-0 win for Celtic at Parkhead in November, there was just a solitary yellow shown to County wing-back James Brown.
The 6/5 that both teams do not receive a card is a risk worth taking.
Over 11.5 Corners - 1/1
If Ross County do get to frustrate Celtic then expect Rodgers' men to be throwing everything at the Staggies by the end of the game.
Celtic will accordingly boss possession, chances and almost inevitably corners, which may well go through the roof.
The Old Firm giants average eight corners per away game, with their road matches averaging 13.6 corners per game.
