Serie B side Sampdoria are set to be in for a tough evening when they go to top-flight Roma in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
Unsurprisingly, Roma are favourites to make the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup and they should have few problems against opponents who are struggling in the second tier, have just changed managers again, and are without a win in seven games now.
Roma to win and over 2.5 goals - 20/21
Despite sitting down in a very disappointing 12th place in Serie A, Roma should have too much class for Samp in the cup.
It has been a campaign of mixed results so far for the Giallorossi but since the experienced Claudio Ranieri was installed boss on a short-term deal last month - for his third spell in charge - results did begin to pick up.
A creditable 2-2 draw at Premier League Tottenham in the Europa League was followed up by a 3-0 home win over Braga in the same competition, while Ranieri has also overseen an encouraging 4-1 home win over Lecce in the league.
However, the former Leicester title-winner will want a response from his players after the weekend 2-0 reverse at Como.
Roma enter the Coppa Italia at this stage after finishing sixth in the Italian top flight last term and they will fancy their chances of securing a comfortable win, setting up a last-eight showdown against AC Milan in the process.
It should be a morale-boosing win, too, with plenty of goals expected in midweek at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma have been impressive at home of late, scoring seven in front of their own fans in their last two games in those big wins over Lecce and Braga, so they should be able to swat aside a Samp team that were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Spezia at the weekend - a result that came on the back off a heavy 5-1 defeat at Sassuolo the previous week.
Samp have got this far in the cup after squeezing past first Como and then local rivals Genoa in the early rounds, both on penalties, but they are somewhat in disarray going into Wednesday's tie.
Following that defeat to Sassuolo, the club opted to sack head coach Andrea Sottil, with Leonardo Semplici named as new boss on an initial deal until the end of the season.
They will be hoping a change in the dugout will spark an upturn in results but this is a daunting first task for the new man at the helm.
Paulo Dybala to score at any time - 6/4
Paulo Dybala will want to improve his goalscoring record this season as the forward has only managed two goals in 18 appearances for Roma.
He should get plenty of chances to do that against Samp. Even though he has struggled for goals over the course of the campaign, the Argentina international has still been very active in the final third in terms of shots and shots on target in the past month.
Dybala has attempted 14 shots in his last six outings, with six of those landing on target, so he has not been shy at trying to get on the scoresheet.
Up against inferior opponents, who have shipped 13 goals in their last six matches, Dybala's quality should shine through.
Evan N'Dicka - Over 0.5 shots on target - 2/1
With Ranieri expected to rotate his side somewhat, there will be several fringe players keen to impress.
However, the reliable Evan N'Dicka is tipped to start for the hosts at the back and he can have an impact on the tie.
The lvory Coast international has been influential going forward at times this season, having four shots in his last three appearances for Roma, two of which were on target.
He has scored just one goal in all compeitions this term and, while he may have to wait to add to his tally, managing at least one shot on target should be doable for the 25-year-old on Wednesday.
