Chelsea saw their 100 per cent record in the WSL end with a 1-1 draw against Leicester City and Sonia Bompastor's side may have to settle for another point when they travel to Real Madrid in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The Blues came out on top 3-2 in the reverse fixture at the start of the campaign and have earned a draw at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium in each of the last two seasons.
Draw - 27/10
Real Madrid and Chelsea are already guaranteed a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals and they could be involved in a tight clash in the Spanish capital on Tuesday.
The Blues hold the edge in Group B following their 3-2 victory over Las Blancas at Stamford Bridge in October and there could be little to choose between the teams again.
Chelsea have undergone a smooth transition to life under Bompastor following Emma Hayes’s departure to manage the USWNT, but a trip to Madrid has been a difficult assignment in the last two qualifications, with the Londoners having to be content with a point on each occasion.
Madrid are second in La Liga Femenina, 11 points behind Champions League holders Barcelona, but they do have two games in hand, suffering their only defeat of the season in a 4-0 home loss to the European champions.
But they reacted well to their loss at Chelsea by winning their next four matches against Dutch side Twente and Celtic, scoring 17 goals in the process.
So, they are growing into the competition and the value looks to lie in a draw.
Madrid need to win to have any chance of topping the group and that might be a big ask, but they look capable of earning a share of the spoils.
Signe Bruun to score at any time - 9/4
Those looking for a goalscorer bet for Tuesday's clash would be unwise to ignore the chances of Real’s Signe Bruun making her mark.
The Danish striker has been in excellent form and it would not be a surprise if she scored after she was on target in Saturday’s win over Deportivo La Coruna despite featuring for only the final 20 minutes of the clash.
Bruun has scored five goals in her last four matches in this competition and is clearly confident as she has recorded a total of 18 goal attempts in her last six matches.
She could prove a real thorn in Chelsea’s side and 9/4 for her to find the net again looks a price that is worth taking.
Second half to be Real Madrid’s highest-scoring half - 6/4
It would not be a surprise if this game got off to a cagey opening, and we could see Real come into their own after the interval.
They have scored more goals in the second half in five of their last seven matches, a run that included that defeat to Barcelona when they failed to register.
It is also worth noting that 13 of the 19 goals they have scored in this season’s competition have come in the second half.
