Rangers will be looking for revenge when they host Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.
When last meeting at Pittodrie back in October, the Dons were able to take advantage of Gers’ sluggish start to the season by earning a 2-1 victory on the east coast.
Aberdeen made an impressive start to the season and at one stage it looked like they could pose the biggest threat to reigning champions Celtic and their title defence.
However, the Reds have dropped off in a big way in recent weeks and now a tough trip to Glasgow on Wednesday could yield very little for boss Jimmy Thelin and his players.
Rangers to win to nil - 6/5
Frustrating draws with Hibernian and Dundee undid much of Rangers’ good work in beating frontrunners Celtic at the start of the year, but Philippe Clement’s side did get back to winning ways against St Johnstone last time out.
Coming out on top 3-1 against the Saints at Ibrox, Rangers are back on their own patch this week for the arrival of an Aberdeen side struggling for goals.
The Dons are currently on an 11-game winless run in the Premiership, taking them down to fourth spot in the table, while they have failed to score in four of their last five games.
With no cutting edge in the final third, it’s hard to see Aberdeen getting past a Gers side that have managed to keep three clean sheets in their last four home games at Ibrox in the Premiership.
All that considered, the 6/5 on offer for Rangers to win to nil against what has been a toothless Aberdeen side in recent weeks, catches the eye here.
Hamza Igamane first goalscorer - 7/2
One man who has been a key figure for Rangers this season is Hamza Igamane, who has scored eight goals in 18 Premiership appearances this term.
Igamane’s recent goals have helped Rangers make positive starts in recent weeks, with the Moroccan striker scoring the opener against both Hibs and St Johnstone.
With the Light Blues looking to put Aberdeen on the back foot ealy in Wednesday’s contest, look to Igamane to opening the scoring at attractive odds of 7/2.
Vaclav Cerny anytime goalscorer - 8/5
Another player who has emerged as a key figure in this Rangers side, top goalscorer Vaclav Cerny is with considering in the anytime goalscorer market.
The Czech star has scored in both of Rangers’ last two Premiership games, finding the back of the net against Dundee and St Johnstone.
A player who enjoys taking on defenders and is a threat with his efforts both in and on the edge of the box, Cerny has become a key attacking weapon for the Old Firm outfit this season.
Already with nine goals to his name and is good form going into this one, Cerny to add to his goal tally for the season looks to be good value at 8/5, as Rangers hope they can narrow the gap on Premiership frontrunners Celtic and get some revenge over Aberdeen this week.
