The Premier League looks set for a fascinating season and the Racing Post's Mark Langdon believes Arsenal could be about to end their drought by claiming their first title since the Invincibles went unbeaten in the 2003/04 campaign.
Arsenal To Win Outright - 15/8
Arsenal have been making great progress under Mikel Arteta in the past two campaigns and after pushing Manchester City close on a couple of occasions the Gunners look ready to stop Pep Guardiola's side from making it five in a row.
The Londoners got to within five points in 2022/23 and then narrowed the margin to just two points last term when Arsenal matched City in virtually every department, including finishing with the same +62 goal difference.
Arsenal have dropped points in only two matches in 2024 - and one of those was a goalless draw at City - and it was not through a lack of steel as to why the team fell short.
The Gunners had the best defence with only 29 goals conceded and have improved with classy Italian Riccardo Calafiori boosting the one area of vulnerability on the left as well as add depth to the centre-back area should anything happen to William Saliba or Gabriel.
Arsenal are full of class in midfield and looked like a complete team when Kai Havertz moved up front.
City will not be easy to beat, but Kyle Walker is 34 and Kevin De Bruyne 33 so there might not be much improvement to come, while Rodri has been on the go all summer after helping Spain win the Euros.
Guardiola will reportedly leave at the end of the season and if ever they looked beatable it is now.
Liverpool are not easy to weigh up, but it is a huge task for Arne Slot to get as much out of the squad as Jurgen Klopp and Chelsea are once again starting from scratch after bringing in Enzo Maresca.
Manchester United were eighth last season so will need a huge amount of improvement to close the 31-point gap to City and Aston Villa have the added demands of Champions League football.
Newcastle are capable of better and the top four is probably the best Tottenham can hope for.
Ollie Watkins Top Goalscorer - 16/1
Erling Haaland will be a difficult favourite to beat in the Top Goalscorer betting but Ollie Watkins looks a sensible each-way play against the Norwegian.
Watkins was joint-fourth last season with a healthy 19-goal haul and he has a brilliant relationship with Unai Emery.
The 28-year-old scored only once in 11 league outings in the 2022/23 season before Steven Gerrard was sacked, but he ended the campaign with 15 goals and that relationship with Emery should allow England's super-sub to flourish.
Ipswich To Be Relegated - 8/11
The relegation market is increasingly difficult as profit and sustainability rules bite across the Premier League and it's hard to know exactly who, if anyone, will be deducted points.
What we do know is the jump from the Championship to the Premier League is getting bigger judging by last season's efforts as all three promoted clubs went straight back down.
That suggests it will be tough for Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich.
The Tractor Boys have come a long way in a short space of time, but following successive promotions this might be a step too far.
Highly-rated boss Kieran McKenna has remained at Portman Road, however, the infrastructure doesn't look in place whereas Leicester and Southampton were Premier League clubs until last season's brief drop down.
Brennan Johnson Most Assists - 50/1
De Bruyne is a strong favourite to claim the Most Assists, a market topped by Watkins last season with 13 and Cole Palmer was next best on 11.
Palmer's breakthrough season was astonishing and if he carries on the same trajectory he definitely needs consideration because De Bruyne is beatable as he comes towards the end of his stellar career.
The brilliant Belgian still had only Palmer and Watkins ahead of him last term with 10 assists, but another player who got double figures was Brennan Johnson, who remains at juicy odds.
Johnson had to settle at Spurs following a late-summer sale from Nottingham Forest and at 23 is still on the upgrade, while Tottenham are an all-out attacking team who should score plenty of goals.
Ange Postecoglou demands his wingers hit the byline and put low crosses into the path of teammates which helps to explain why Heung-Min Son also had 10 assists on the opposite flank to Johnson.
