We look at the contenders for the Premier League top four in 2023/24, with a couple of big movers in the market.
Finishing in the top four of the Premier League - securing a place in the Champions League - has become almost as important as winning a trophy over the last decade or so.
We take a look at the odds to finish in the top four for the 2023/24 Premier League season.
Premier League Top 4 odds:
Man City | 1/100 |
Liverpool | 1/4 |
Arsenal | 1/3 |
Tottenham | 7/4 |
Newcastle | 7/4 |
Brighton | 9/4 |
Man Utd | 12/5 |
Chelsea | 4/1 |
Aston Villa | 6/1 |
West Ham | 25/1 |
Last season's top two in the Premier League - champions Man City and runners-up Arsenal - are both odds-on to finish in the top four again in 2023/24 at odds of 1/100 and 1/3 respectively.
Despite missing out on the top four last season, Liverpool are also now odds-on at 1/4 to rectify this in 2023/24 on the back of their 3-1 triumph over West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday.
But it's Brighton & Hove Albion who are the biggest movers this weekend, coming into 9/4 to secure a Champions League spot after extending their superb start to the campaign with a 3-1 success of their own over Bournemouth.
The Seagulls have now won five of their six opening league fixtures this term, a record that sees them third in the current league table, just one point adrift of Liverpool in second and three behind Manchester City, who still boast a 100% winning record.
Roberto De Zerbi's men sit just behind Tottenham Hotspur (7/4) and Newcastle United (7/4) in the betting - with both sides having enjoyed profitable weekends with Spurs securing a point in from their North London derby showdown with Arsenal and Newcastle firing eight past a disjointed Sheffield United.
Manchester United are 12/5 to finish in the top four after bouncing back to winning ways away to Burnley and struggling Chelsea, who were beaten once more by Aston Villa on home soil, have drifted out to 4/1.
