Football accumulator tips: Tottenham to beat Liverpool in four-fold

Tottenham remained unbeaten after securing an impressive 2-2 draw at Arsenal last Sunday but they must prepare themselves for another tough challenge at home to Liverpool in Saturday’s standout encounter.

Manchester United will attempt to defeat Crystal Palace for a second time in five days and newly-promoted duo Burnley and Luton face tough trips to Newcastle and Everton.

There are eight games on the Saturday coupon and we have chosen four selections to form an accumulator which pays more than 8/1.

Premier League Saturday accumulator:

Everton to beat Luton @ 3/5
Manchester United to beat Crystal Palace @ 11/20
Newcastle to beat Burnley @ 3/10
Tottenham to beat Liverpool @ 19/10

Accumulator pay odds more than 8/1.

Everton v Luton Information

  • Where is Everton v Luton? Goodison Park, Liverpool
  • When is Everton v Luton? 15:00, Saturday 30th September
  • What are the odds for Everton v Luton? Everton 3/5, Draw 14/5, Luton 5/1

Everton v Luton prediction

Everton to win @ 3/5

Everton have lifted the mood of their supporters with back-to-back wins and they look solid 3/5 shots to see off struggling Luton at Goodison Park.

Pressure was mounting on Everton boss Sean Dyche after his team took just one point from their opening five matches.

But Dyche’s side were impressive 3-1 winners at Brentford last Saturday and they backed it up with a 2-1 victory away to Aston Villa in the EFL Cup third round.

While Everton enjoyed a fruitful midweek, Luton suffered a chastening 1-0 defeat away to League One Exeter.

EFL Cup progress was never the priority for Luton but the setback in Devon offers evidence of a lack of depth in the squad.

The Hatters ended a string of Premier League losses last weekend with a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves, but they are on a run of five successive away defeats and could come unstuck against the Toffees.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace Information

  • Where is Manchester United v Crystal Palace? Old Trafford, Manchester
  • When is Manchester United v Crystal Palace? 15:00, Saturday 30th September
  • What are the odds for Manchester United v Crystal Palace?  Manchester United 11/20, Draw 16/5, Crystal Palace 19/4

Manchester United v Crystal Palace prediction

Manchester United to win @ 11/20

Manchester United cruised to a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup third round on Tuesday and they look a worthy 11/20 wager to overcome the same opponents at Old Trafford this weekend.

Both teams deployed fringe players for the midweek match and United’s greater depth shone through as they ran out comfortable winners.

United’s start to the season has been far from perfect but back-to-back wins have lifted spirits and the injury list has shortened with Mason Mount, Raphael Varane and Sofyan Amabat pushing to make their first Premier League starts since the international break.

Palace have a smaller squad and their offensive options are constrained with Odsonne Edouard joining Michael Olise in the treatment room.

Roy Hodgson’s side have failed to score in their last two games and another blank day looks likely at the Theatre of Dreams.

Newcastle v Burnley Information

  • Where is Newcastle v Burnley? St James’ Park, Newcastle
  • When is Newcastle v Burnley? 15:00, Saturday 30th September
  • What are the odds for Newcastle v Burnley? Newcastle 3/10, Draw 9/2, Burnley 9/1

Newcastle v Burnley prediction

Newcastle to win @ 3/10

Newcastle demonstrated their willingness to compete on all fronts with a 1-0 victory at home to Manchester City in the EFL Cup third round, but the Premier League is their priority and they can add another three points against Burnley at St James’ Park.

Eddie Howe’s side are on a four-game unbeaten run and are just 3/10 to topple the Clarets, who have taken just one point from five matches.

Those odds look fair enough because the Magpies have moved on decisively from their early-season struggles.

Questions were being asked after Newcastle lost three of their opening four Premier League matches, but they have responded with wins at home to Brentford (1-0) and away to Sheffield United (8-0).

Newcastle are moving up the table and they have silverware in their sights after setting up a trip to Manchester United in the EFL Cup fourth round.

Several fringe players were deployed in the midweek success over Manchester City, but Howe will revert to his first choice side for the visit of Burnley.

Top flight survival will be the first target for the Clarets and they have work to do after sliding into the relegation zone.

Vincent Kompany’s side were convincing 4-0 winners away to injury-hit Salford in the EFL Cup third round on Wednesday but they have shipped 13 goals in their Premier League and their suspect defence could be exposed on Tyneside.

Tottenham v Liverpool Information

  • Where is Tottenham v Liverpool? Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
  • When is Tottenham v Liverpool? 17:30, Saturday 30th September
  • Where can I watch Tottenham v Liverpool? Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event
  • What are the odds for Tottenham v Liverpool? Tottenham 19/10, Draw 3/1, Liverpool 23/20

Tottenham v Liverpool prediction

Tottenham to win @ 19/10

Tottenham remain unbeaten in the Premier League after last Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Arsenal and they look overpriced 19/10 shots to collect maximum points against fellow high-flyers Liverpool in the capital.

There was uncertainty over how Spurs would cope with the standard of opposition and the atmosphere in the season’s first North London derby, but they rose to the occasion and were well worth a share of the spoils.

Under Ange Postecoglou, the Lilywhites are playing a much more attacking brand of football and, on the evidence of last weekend, it is also a better method of achieving results.

Naysayers would point out that Spurs have the same amount of points (14) as at the same stage of last season, but that would ignore the quality of their performances.

Tottenham are averaging 19 shots per game, which is the highest in the division, and their high tempo style could be the answer to ending Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are two points higher than Spurs, but they face a tough challenge at the weekend and may come up short.
