Manchester United are given odds of 10/11 to finish above Mikel Arteta's Arsenal in the Premier League next season.
Finishing third in the Premier League last term under Erik ten Hag, nine points behind Arsenal in second, Man United will be aiming to elevate themselves above the Gunners next season as they strive to secure a first league title win since Sir Alex Ferguson's last year in charge in 2012/13.
Man United and Arsenal have shared a famous rivalry in the Premier League, peaking during the late 90s and early 2000s when the two English giants regularly went head-to-head for the title at the top of the league under Messrs Ferguson and Wenger respectively.
With Man United having claimed 13 Premier League titles and Arsenal three-time winners, both clubs have endured a barren spell in recent times following the emergence of Chelsea and more recently Manchester City as serious forces at the top.
Last season saw the Red Devils and the Gunners enjoy promising campaigns, however, with United winning the EFL Cup and securing a Champions League place in Dutchman Erik ten Hag's first season in charge and Arsenal engaging Man City in a genuine Premier League title race before eventually finishing second.
The new season will see both sides bid to push current champions City even harder in the Premier League, with both Man United and Arsenal expected to bolster their squad in the summer transfer window.
Glaringly lacking a reliable centre-forward last term, with Anthony Martial regularly sidelined through injury and January addition Wout Weghorst struggling to make an impact, Man United will believe the arrival of a new goalscorer could take them to the next level in the new campaign and usurp the likes of Arsenal in the table.
Having been heavily linked with a move for Spurs talisman Harry Kane, it now seems the Red Devils' interest in the England captain has waned with their attention set to turn to other targets with the likes of Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund and Benfica's Goncalo Ramos potential alternative targets.
