Portugal are among the favourites to win the European Championship in Germany and they will want to show that the slip against Georgia wasn't anything too serious by defeating Slovenia in the round of 16.
Robert Martinez's men are just 4/11 to overcome Slovenia, who are 8/1 to produce a monumental shock in Frankfurt on Monday.
Portugal to win to nil - 10/11
Portugal earned plenty of praise for their winning start to Euro 2024 and their opening two victories over Czech Republic and Turkey were achieved with some comfort, although a late goal spared Portuguese blushes in the win over the Czechs despite their dominance in the match.
Turkey were ruthlessly dispatched 3-0 in game two and the 2-0 defeat to Georgia can be excused as Martinez rotated his side heavily in that match with qualification already secured.
A return to his first-choice side should have the desired effect and Portugal are fancied to ease into the quarter-finals with a comfortable victory over Slovenia.
The Slovenes have somewhat fortunately drawn their way into the last 16 and, although they have a good goalscoring record, they may struggle to break down a Portugal side ready to get down to the serious business.
Slovenia haven't scored more than once in any of their last four outings and they struggled to lay a glove on England in their final group game where they managed just three shots at goal.
Portugal could prove just as stubborn at the back and a win to nil looks a solid bet.
Portugal to win 2-0 - 5/1
Portugal have scored two or more goals in 14 of their last 20 matches and they scored three goals from three shots on target in their 3-0 win over Turkey earlier on in the competition.
And should they get their noses in front, it is hard to see them relinquishing that lead to a side who have struggled to make an impact in attack.
Slovenia may have to release the handbrake at some point and that could open up more opportunities for the Portuguese, who have a wealth of talent in attack to capitalise.
Slovenia have scored in all but one of their last 14 matches, but their lack of a cutting edge against a struggling England side was quite alarming and Portugal should be able to limit their opponents’ opportunities too.
A 2-0 win to Portugal looks like a likely outcome.
Under 2.5 Slovenia shots on target - 11/10
Slovenia managed just seven shots on target across their three group-stage matches and a return to their first-choice back four could help Portugal keep their last-16 rivals at arm’s length, so backing the underdogs to manage no more than two shots on target could pay off.
Their average across the tournament so far is just 2.3 shots on target per match, the same figure as shots on target allowed by the Portuguese in their opening three fixtures.
Even Portugal's second string allowed only three shots on target in their loss over Georgia, but they should be more solid with their main men restored to the starting line-up.
England, a side of similar abilities to that of the Portuguese, allowed Slovenia just one shot on target in their 0-0 draw, so a frustrating evening looks likely for the Slovene's attacking cohort.
