It is turning into a dream season for Liverpool as the Reds sit six points clear in the Premier League with a game in hand on their nearest rivals while they have eased through to the last 16 of the Champions League and the EFL Cup final.

Manager Arne Slot may elect to make a few changes for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at Plymouth Argyle, but that should not halt the Merseysiders’ momentum and they should progress with minimal fuss.

Young players may also be given their chance but there should still be more recognisable names to provide opportunities, just as there were in the previous round when the Reds earned a 4-0 win against League Two Accrington.

Nunez had five efforts on goal in that game and a further three against Tottenham, while he also popped up with two late goals that earned a valuable 2-0 win at Brentford recently, so don’t be surprised if he is the central figure of the Liverpool attack and takes one of his chances

Matthew Sorinola to be shown a card - 10/3

Plymouth’s Matthew Sorinola is a full-back who likes to get forward, but this looks like being an afternoon when his defensive capabilities will be severely tested.

The 23-year-old has made just 12 starts for Argyle this season but he looks set to feature in this one having played a full 90 minutes against West Brom.

He has picked up six bookings in the Championship this season and was booked in both of his previous games against Burnley and Sunderland, so it would not be a huge surprise if he had a tough time against the Reds and received yet another yellow card.
