Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has revealed co-owner Rob McElhenney delivered a rousing speech to the squad ahead of their vital victory over Blackpool in League One.
The Welsh side's 2-1 win away at Blackpool has left them in second place in the League One table with two matches remaining after Wycombe succumbed to a potentially costly 4-0 defeat at home to Charlton.
Speaking of McElhenney's visit to the Wrexham training ground on the eve of the trip to Blackpool, Parkinson told the club's official YouTube channel:
Rob was in yesterday, having a chat with the lads, just explaining how well they've done and what his perception of the situation was, and the lads listened and enjoyed speaking to our owner, as they did when Ryan [Reynolds] came over a couple of weeks ago.
Hollywood actor McElhenney was pictured amongst the 2,000-strong travelling Wrexham support as goals from James McClean and Oliver Rathbone sealed all three points for the away side at Bloomfied Road.
Wrexham, two points ahead of Wycombe in the second automatic promotion berth in League One, will face in-form Charlton and Lincoln City in their final two fixtures.
Mike Dodds' Wycombe take on Leyton Orient and Stockport as they seek to quickly bounce back from their ignominious loss at the hands of Charlton at Adams Park.
Should Parkinson's Wrexham get over the line and finish second to go up to the Championship, they would become the first club ever to achieve three consecutive promotions starting in the National League or higher.
