Wrexham striker Paul Mullin is priced at 33/1 to be League One's Top Goalscorer in the 2024/25 season.

Worshipped on the terraces of the Racecourse, Mullin has been the face of the Wrexham playing squad since Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds completed their takeover of the club in 2020.

One of the first major additions under the Hollywood duo's ownership, Mullin's goal record at the club is indicative of his influence in Wrexham's rise up the football pyramid, with the 29-year-old netting 101 goals in 138 appearances in all competitions.

Mullin missed a chunk of the previous campaign as a result of a lung injury sustained in pre-season and after a brief period finding his feet, the former Cambridge United and Morecambe striker was back amongst the goals, spearing Phil Parkinson's side to promotion with 24 strikes in 38 appearances.

Another disrupted pre-season has followed, however, with Mullin undergoing minor spinal surgery in June.

Easing him back to full health, Mullin enjoyed a brief cameo in the 3-0 triumph over Reading in August before making his first start in the EFL Trophy against Salford, in which the striker demonstrated his marksmanship skills with a divine curling finish into the far corner.

With Jack Marriott weighing in with four goals, Parkinson hasn't felt the need to rush Mullin back into the fray and the Liverpudlian started on the bench for the Red Dragons' encounter against Birmingham.

It won't be too long before we see Mullin featuring in the starting XI and having only scored three goals in his one and only League One season to date with Tranmere, the forward will be eager to prove his credentials in the third tier.
