Parma v AC Milan: How to watch, TV channel, kick-off time, head-to-head stats and team news

Parma and AC Milan opened their Serie A campaigns with draws last weekend and both teams will now be seeking a first victory of the season when they clash at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Returning to the Italian top-flight after a three-season absence, Serie B champions Parma begun their league campaign with a more than respectable home draw with Fiorentina, while Milan needed late heroics from Alvaro Morata and Noah Okafor to salvage a share of the spoils against Torino at San Siro.

Parma are without a win across their last eight meetings with Milan, with their most recent success over the Rossoneri coming at San Siro when they claimed a 4-2 success in March 2014.

Milan have beaten the Crociati six times since then, most recently claiming a 3-1 victory at the Stadio Ennio Tardini in April 2021 - Rafael Leao was amongst the scorers that day.

Parma lost just once at home in the league last season on their way to lifting the Serie B title, but they have been beaten on their own patch already this term, going down 1-0 to Palermo in the Coppa Italia.

Only champions Inter picked up more away points than Milan in Serie A last season, with the Rossoneri winning 10 of their 19 away games.

Parma v AC Milan team news

Parma team news

The hosts should be boosted by the return of captain Enrico Del Prato for this game after he missed the draw with Fiorentina through suspension.

Midfielder Hernani remains a doubt due to a calf issue, but Dennis Man, who scored Parma's goal last weekend off the back of an impressive Euros with Romania, should retain his place in Fabio Pecchia's starting XI.

AC Milan team news

After coming off the bench to help Milan salvage a draw against Torino, forwards Morata and Okafor will hope to have done enough to earn starts, which could see Luka Jovic and Samuel Chukwueze drop to the bench.

Experienced full-back Alessandro Florenzi and back-up goalkeeper Marco Sportiello remain long-term absentees for Paulo Fonseca's side.
