Paris Saint-Germain secured a rare UEFA Champions League win on Tuesday, when they eased to a 3-0 win over Salzburg, and now return to Ligue 1 duties where they have had few issues so far this season.
The capital club remain at the summit with 10 wins and four draws from their 14 matches and will be eager to capitalise on title rivals Marseille dropping points against Lille on Saturday.
But their Sunday opponents Lyon are no pushovers with Les Gones having found form under Pierre Sage, despite their ongoing off-field issues.
Lyon have been provisionally relegated to Ligue 2 unless they can resolve their financial issues but the players do not seem impacted on the pitch with Sage's side having strung together a nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
Draw or Lyon double chance - 12/5
Lyon manager Sage deserves enormous credit for how he has galvanised the team despite the problems off the pitch.
The future of the club looks bleak if they are unable to sort existing debt but the players are playing with confidence and renewed attacking verve.
A respectable 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday made it nine games unbeaten in all competitions for Les Gones, who have also moved into contention for a top-four berth in Ligue 1.
The goals have been flying in for them recently with 14 goals scored in their last four matches, including a 4-1 win over Nice in the league.
Their next opponents PSG are unbeaten in Ligue 1 this term but that does not mean they have been faultless, having dropped points in each of their last two league contests against Nantes and Auxerre.
They could not breach Auxerre last time out in the league despite 24 shots, including 11 on target, and they cannot afford to be as wasteful against a Lyon team which will likely stretch their defence.
At 12/5, Lyon are overpriced to avoid defeat at the Parc des Princes.
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals - 8/11
Another way for punters to offer Lyon support without delving into the results market is with a bet on both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.
Backers of that bet have been rewarded in three of Lyon's last four matches as Les Gones have scored at least three times themselves in each of those assignments.
They have plenty of options in the final third with Alexandre Lacazette or Georges Mikautadze deployed through the centre, while Malick Fofana and Rayan Cherki provide a creative threat.
PSG have been tested going forwards in their last two league games but steered three goals past Salzburg in midweek and this should be a high-scoring matchup.
Alexandre Lacazette to score anytime - 11/4
Sage started with veteran marksman Lacazette up top against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday and the former Arsenal forward has also been his go-to man in Ligue 1 this season.
Lacazette did not score against Frankfurt but in Ligue 1 this term he has bagged five goals and two assists in 13 appearances, having scored a hat-trick against Nice at the start of the month.
He is typically on penalty duty for Les Gones and at 11/4 he is a worthwhile bet to find the net in this high-profile Ligue 1 clash.
