Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid were two of the fancied sides going into the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, but inauspicious starts have turned this showdown at the Parc des Princes into a critical one.
Draw or Atletico Madrid Double Chance - 11/10
PSG are piling up the chances but not the points in a frustrating start to the UEFA Champions League league phase campaign and that doesn't make them easy to trust at home to Atleti.
Luis Enrique's Ligue 1 pace-setters have racked up 62 shots in their first three games - only Manchester City and Stuttgart had mustered more after three rounds - yet have just two goals and four points to show for their efforts.
They opened up with a 1-0 win over Girona - converting just one of 26 efforts - then lost 2-0 at Arsenal before drawing 1-1 at home to PSV Eindhoven.
They are having no difficulty carving out chances, but not replacing Kylian Mbappe is looking like a costly mistake, with Ousmane Dembele more wasteful than any of his colleagues, having failed to convert any of an eye-watering 21 chances.
They are a point better off than Atleti, who are close to a crisis following their 4-0 humbling at Benfica and subsequent 3-1 home loss to Lille. Their win came in their opener, 2-1 at home to RB Leipzig.
Atletico, such is their way under Diego Simeone, have created far fewer chances than PSG though it's their famed defensive solidness which is being compromised. They are conceding over 11 shots per game which is unheard of for them historically.
Simeone will have been pleased, therefore, with Sunday's 2-0 win over Las Palmas in La Liga. They were long odds-on to win that match, but critically conceded just a solitary shot and one corner to the Canary Islands outfit.
They are missing key defenders of the shape of Jose Maria Gimenez, Robin Le Normand and Cesar Azpilicueta, meaning Clement Lenglet and Axel Witsel will need plenty of assistance to repel the countless Parisian raids which will be coming their way.
Once upon a time this was the type of challenge Simeone relished and, while his side look more vulnerable these days they can still keep out the hosts, who are short enough.
Under 2.5 Goals - Evens
The idea of going near an under-the-goals bet with PSG would have been utterly fanciful once upon a time, but the evidence is clear that they are struggling to find the net.
They are creating chances but their three UEFA Champions League matches to date have produced just five goals, with two or less scored in all of them.
Even at the weekend, at home to Lens in Ligue 1, they managed 18 shots but could only win 1-0 and Lens played for over half an hour with ten men.
Atletico used to dine out on low-scoring duels and domestically they are safe as houses with the meanest defence in La Liga - just seven goals conceded in 12 matches.
They will set themselves up to be hard to beat because they know, despite playing catch-up with only three points on the board, that a draw in Paris represents a fabulous result ahead of a pair of hugely winnable games against Sparta Prague and Slovan Bratislava.
Corners race to 7 - PSG - 11/8
With the visitors happy to sit back and play without the ball for long periods, Luis Enrique's hosts will do the lion's share of the attacking.
That means piling up shots but also corners.
They are averaging eight corners per game so far, while Atleti had just two on their one previous UEFA Champions League road trip at Benfica.
The French powers are 4/5 to win over 5.5 corners, but rather than take a short price on them winning six or more, take the 11/8 in the race to seven.
There will be only one side getting anywhere near seven corners.
