The draw in Uruguay was Paraguay boss Gustavo Alfaro's first game in charge and he will have to make at least one change, with Fabian Balbuena poised to replace Gustavo Gomez, who serves a one-match suspension.
Mathias Villasanti could also start after coming on for Andres Cubas and playing the final 34 minutes in Montevideo.
Dorival Junior was already without Yan Couto, Savinho and Pedro and will also be unable to call upon Eder Militao, who sustained an injury before the win over Ecuador.
Gabriel Magalhaes and Marquinhos are expected to start in central defence, while Luiz Henrique could be retained in attack alongside Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, with their Real Madrid colleague Endrick again expected to start on the bench.
