Panama have won both of their opening two games in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in relatively convincing fashion, and they know that a point will be enough to secure first place in Group C.
Jamaica sit three points below their opponents, but they are ahead of third-place Guatemala on goals scored, and even a win against the odds may not be enough to secure passage through to the knockout stages.

Best Bet: Panama to win @ 6/5
Jamaica picked up a 1-0 win the last time they met Panama in 2024, but Los Canaleros should be able to exact some revenge as they look to seal top spot in CONCACAF Gold Cup Group C.
The favourites beat Guadeloupe 5-2 in their opener and followed it up with a 1-0 win over Guatemala, while Jamaica began their campaign with a deserved loss to Guatemala before scraping a win over Guadeloupe.
The Reggae Boyz have managed just six shots on target across these two games, losing both on expected goals, and they may find the going tough against a Panama side that limited Guatemala to just three shots last time out.
Alex Wrigley explains:
Panama’s results so far in the CONCACAF Gold Cup have rarely looked in doubt. Guatemala managed only three shots against them last time out, and they raced to a 4-0 lead in the opening 25 minutes against Guadeloupe. Jamaica, on the other hand, have struggled to show their quality, and may come unstuck against what appears to be the best side in Group C.
Tomas Rodriguez came off the bench to score Panama’s fifth goal against Guadeloupe and was rewarded with a starting berth against Guatemala, where he found the net after 19 minutes with the only goal of the game.
The 26-year-old Monagas striker should get the nod again, and he looks the best bet to spur Panama to victory.
Rodriguez’s cameo against Guadeloupe is the only goal of Panama’s six strikes to come in the second half, too. Incredibly, 10 of the 11 goals scored in these sides’ group games have come before the break, and that looks a solid choice again in Austin.
Panama have also been dominant in the corner department. They have earned 13 corners to their opponents’ four, and should dominate again against a Jamaica side that has lost the corner count in both their group games so far.

Alex Wrigley adds:
Tomas Rodriguez scored from the bench in Panama’s opener and rewarded his manager’s faith in him by netting the only goal of the game last time out. His first goal is the only goal scored after half time in any Group C game, and Panama have dominated the corner count in both their group matches.
