Oxford's Will Goodwin will miss the game after being ruled out for up to six weeks with an ankle injury, while Owen Dale is a doubt due to a minor injury.
Des Buckingham will likely rotate his team to keep them fresh for the Championship encounter against Coventry City on Friday.
