La Roja went down 4-2 to Brazil in their last four assignment, while Germany suffered extra-time heartache as they were beaten 1-0 by the USA after a goalless 90 minutes.
The women's soccer Bronze Medal Game between Spain and Germany will be broadcast on Eurosport 5 and Discovery+ in the UK.
Spain v Germany will be played at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon and kick-off is at 14:00 BST on Friday 9th August 2024.
This will be the first meeting between these two sides since a group-stage clash in the 2022 European Championship. Germany won 2-0 and went on to finish as the runners-up, while Spain reached the quarter-finals.
Germany won Gold in 2016 and have a further three Bronze medals, while this is Spain's first appearance at the Olympics.
Spain are currently ranked at No.1 by FIFA, and Germany sit in fourth place in the rankings.

Spain disappointed against Brazil and boss Montse Tome is likely to make a number of changes for Friday's game.
