Top spot is up for grabs on matchday three of Group C at the Olympics as Spain take on Egypt, with La Roja already assured of their place in the knockout stages.
Spain edged past Uzbekistan 2-1 in their group opener before a more assured performance saw them defeat the Dominican Republic 3-1.
Egypt have not yet fully sealed their place in the next round, with three points separating themselves with the third placed Dominican’s, however a shock victory would send the Africans top of the pile and secure a more favourable draw for the quarter-finals.

The two nations have met at two previous Olympics, including in the last tournament in 2021 as the two played out a goalless draw on matchday one in Sapporo.
The first meeting in 1992 saw Spain come away with a 2-0 victory - thanks to goals from Roberto Solozabal and Paco Soler - as La Roja topped Group B with maximum points, with Egypt exiting the tournament at the group stages.

Spain head coach Santi Denia will be without Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi for this final group match due to suspension, with Real Sociedad’s Jon Pacheco the likely replacement in the back line.
Rodrigo Micale is unlikely to make many, if any, changes to the starting XI, with the Pharaohs currently unbeaten and yet to concede.
Midfielder and captain Mohamed Elneny should start once more for the North Africans, while Ahmed Kouka - the only Egyptian player to score at this tournament in 2024 - will likely partner him alongside Mohamed Shehata.
