Spain needed to dig deep against Colombia in the quarter-finals of the women's football tournament at the Olympics and they can recover from that scare by defeating Brazil to reach the gold medal match.
The World Cup winners have already beaten Brazil 2-0 in the group stage, but their opponents will have had their confidence boosted by a surprise 1-0 win over hosts France in the last eight, so they may not be a pushover.
Spain to win to nil - 11/8
Spain have made their debut in these Olympics and the World Cup winners will be delighted with the way things have been going, even though they had a real scare in the quarter-finals.
They needed two late goals to take Colombia to extra-time and they came through a penalty shootout to earn a semi-final against another South American side, Brazil, who they have already beaten 2-0 in the pool stage.
The Colombia game was only the second instance in their last 13 matches that they have not managed to win inside 90 minutes and they have scored at least twice in 13 of their last 15 outings, so it is plain to see the task the Brazilians have on their hands.
Their cause in the pool stage was not helped by having veteran midfielder Marta, who is set to retire at the end of this competition, receive a straight red card, and a two-match suspension means she will be sitting out this clash in Marseille.
This is clearly a blow to their chances of beating arguably the best team in the world.
Brazil were also defeated by Japan in Group C as they qualified for the quarter-finals as one of the two best third-placed teams, but they shook up the competition by seeing off hosts France 1-0 in the last eight.
However, it looks a big ask to claim an even bigger scalp and Spain should be able to keep their clean sheet intact and book their place in the gold medal match without conceding.
Draw-Spain - half-time/full-time - 10/3
While Spain have come through all four of their Olympics matches without defeat, it could hardly be described as serene progress and they have been a lot stronger in the second half of games than they have been before the interval.
They had to come from behind to beat Japan and needed a goal from Alexis Putellas goal five minutes from time to claim a 1-0 win over Nigeria.
They did not get going against Brazil until after Marta had been sent off and, after a goalless first half, Spain needed another Putellas goal, this time 17 minutes into extended play, to secure their 2-0 win.
So, with further consideration given to the fact they scored deep in injury time to force extra-time against Colombia after being 2-0 down, there is a strong chance that we will see the best of them after half-time, so the Draw-Spain - half-time/full-time result is an attractive bet.
Salma Paralluelo to score at any time - 5/2
The Spanish have a deep squad at the Olympics, which means it is sometimes a complicated business to find an anytime goalscorer selection, but there could be some value in supporting Barcelona’s Salma Paralluelo.
She has claimed the centre-forward spot in recent games and although she has yet to break her duck at the Olympics, her club form of 20 goals in the last La Liga Femenina season - including 11 in her final seven games of the campaign - suggests she could still be a threat.
The Brazil defence will have their work cut out dealing with a series of attacking threats and Parralluelo could be the player who benefits.
