Norwich City suffered a 2-0 defeat at Oxford on the opening weekend of the Championship season, but the Canaries will expect to see off EFL Cup first-round visitors Stevenage.
The EFL Cup first-round tie between Norwich City and Stevenage will be broadcast on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Norwich's tie with Stevenage kicks off at 19:45 on Tuesday 13th August and the match is being held at Carrow Road, Norwich.
Norwich and Stevenage have met only once in a competitive fixture and the Canaries won 3-1 at Carrow Road in the 2018/19 EFL Cup first round.
City have lost in the first round of the League Cup once in the last 15 years and they finished sixth in the Championship last term before suffering a 4-0 aggregate defeat to Leeds in the play-off semi-finals.
Stevenage, ninth in League One last term, started the 2024/25 campaign with a 1-0 home win over Shrewsbury.
Six of their last eight EFL Cup ties have ended in draws in 90 minutes, the last three of them 1-1. They beat Championship club Watford on penalties in the first round last season before losing in a shootout to Exeter.

The Canaries have no reported injury concerns but new manager Johannes Thorup is expected to make changes after Saturday's 2-0 loss at Oxford.
Stevenage boss Alex Revell should give starts to striker Tyreece Simpson, a summer signing from Huddersfield, and forward Elliott List, who scored the only goal of the game against Shrewsbury on Saturday.
