We take a look at who will be Rangers' next permanent manager.

Belgian Clement was relieved of his duties following a series of disappointing results for the Gers in the 2024/25 campaign, including a dismal 1-0 defeat at home to Queen's Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

Club legend Barry Ferguson took the reins on an interim basis until the summer but the former Rangers captain has now departed as the club seek a long-term appointment ahead of next season.

Former Gers defender Russell Martin was the odds-on favourite to take over the Scottish Premiership giants and it looks like a decision has finally been made with betting being suspended on the next manager market.

bet365's Sports and Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "We’ve had so many moves in this crazy market, but the money is now very strong for Russell Martin, with the former Rangers player’s odds shortening from 6/4 into 4/7 on Monday night prompting us to pull the market on Tuesday morning.
