Next Rangers Manager Odds

We take a look at the latest odds on who will be Rangers manager ahead of next season following the sacking of Philippe Clement at Ibrox.

Belgian Clement was relieved of his duties following a series of disappointing results for the Gers in the 2024/25 campaign, including a dismal 1-0 defeat at home to Queen's Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

With club legend Barry Ferguson taking the reins on an interim basis until the summer, speculation regarding the identity of Clement's long-term successor ahead of next season is ongoing.

Former Rangers and Scotland international defender Russell Martin is favourite to become the next manager of the Govan giants, with the possession-oriented coach having been relieved of his duties as Southampton boss in December 2024.

A return for Steven Gerrard has also been mooted, with the Liverpool legend leading the Rangers to their first Scottish Premiership title in 10 years in a sensational unbeaten league campaign in 2020/21.

Interim boss Barry Ferguson has strengthened his case to land the Rangers job on a permanent basis having inspired the Gers to impressive victories over Fenerbahce and Old Firm rivals Celtic.

bet365's Steve Freeth said: "Barry Ferguson is in from 8/1 to 5/2 to be Rangers manager on 1st August 2025 in what has been some week for the ex-Gers skipper having taken the scalps of both Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers."

Other contenders for the Ibrox hotseat include Rafael Benitez, Gennaro Gattuso and Derek McInnes.

Jose Mourinho is a shock new name in the frame for the managerial vacancy after the Fenerbahce boss admitted he would be open to managing either Celtic or Rangers at some point in the future.
