Newcastle United face a tough test on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St James' Park for Premier League action.
Both sides have amassed four points from their first two matches, the Magpies beating Southampton before drawing with Bournemouth while Spurs shared the spoils with Leicester and defeated Everton.
Newcastle United to win - 6/4
Newcastle have not been at their best in the early stage of the campaign but they are still unbeaten in all competitions, collecting four points from two league matches before edging past Nottingham Forest on penalties in the EFL Cup.
The Magpies will be hoping the shootout victory over the Tricky Trees can help spark them into life and heading back to St James' Park, where they are unbeaten in their last nine matches, could see them clinch another three points.
Defending Premier League champions Manchester City are the only team who have managed to leave Tyneside with a win in 2024, evidence of how hard it is to get anything from this trip.
Tottenham know first hand just how difficult St James' Park can be, with their last two trips to the stadium ending in heavy 6-1 and 4-0 defeats, and they may struggle to make an impact on this visit.
Spurs have also started the campaign in solid fashion, drawing 1-1 at Leicester before putting Everton to the sword with a convincing 4-0 victory in north London.
However, Ange Postecoglou's side have struggled on the road, poicking up just two wins from their last 11 away games in the league, with one of those victories coming against relegated Sheffield United.
Alexander Isak to score any time - 6/5
There will be plenty of attacking threats on show on Saturday and one of those is Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who will be itching to get his account up and running.
The Sweden international, who scored 21 league goals last season, has bagged braces in the Magpies' last two home victories over Tottenham and he will be hoping to continue his fine record against Spurs.
With Sandro Tonali back for Newcastle, there is more creativity in midfield and that should increase the opportunities for Isak to get on the scoresheet.
Cristian Romero to be booked - 15/8
Argentina international Cristian Romero has a poor disciplinary record since arriving at Spurs in August 2021, receiving 25 yellow cards in the league in his first three seasons with the club.
The 26-year-old defender has not enjoyed taking on Newcastle, picking up yellows in his last three appearances against the Magpies, and he may fall foul of the referee again on Saturday.
Romero has a habit of making rash challenges, with his fiery temper getting the better of him at times, and a hostile St James' Park atmosphere will make life tougher for him.
With the pace of Isak, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes to contend with, it would be no surprise to see Romero cautioned.
