Two of the Championship's in-form sides meet at The Den on Wednesday night where Millwall will hope to edge themselves into the play-off spots whilst a victory for Leeds United could propel them to the summit of the league table.
Few doubted the Whites would be in the thick of the promotion race, but they'll not be taking lightly a Lions side who are growing in stature under Neil Harris.
Millwall - Draw No Bet - 7/4
Five straight wins to sign off 2023/24 hinted at the promise of a good season and, after a sticky start, Millwall are flying.
Just two wins in their first eight games doesn't read well, but there were a number of good performances in that run.
And that promise is now being turned into points with Neil Harris' Lions on a five-game unbeaten run culminating in a trio of 1-0 wins.
The first of those was at home to Plymouth followed by the same scoreline at Swansea, but it was the 1-0 win over Burnley in South London on Sunday that really identified the Lions as a genuine force to be reckoned with.
They don't score too many goals - just 16 in 13 matches - but defensively they are almost unbreachable, with four clean sheets in their last five. They conceded seven goals in their first two games, but have since shipped just five in their subsequent 11.
Seven of their last 11 matches have produced one goal or less, although it's a brave call to take the 13/8 under 1.5 goals at The Den with Leeds the visitors.
Certainly Millwall's barricades are going to be stretched by the second most prolific shot-takers in the division.
Daniel Farke's men have lost just one of 13 league games this term and a likely front four of Dan James, Brendon Aaronson, Willy Gnonto and Joel Piroe is a group studded with pace, class and goals.
That's a quartet that will test even the sturdiest of rearguards and, allied to that is also an even meaner defence than Millwall's - a unit which has kept eight clean sheets in the last 12 matches - the most recent of which was in Saturday's 3-0 hammering of Plymouth.
Three sides - West Brom, Burnley and Bristol City - have stopped Leeds scoring and Millwall would hope they can offer Farke's high-fliers a stiff test. The Whites, while unbeaten on the road, have also drawn four of their six road trips.
It's arguable Millwall are being slightly under-rated and certainly merit a second glance in the Draw No Bet market at 7/4.
Ryan Leonard to be booked - 12/5
Lions' right-back Ryan Leonard was booked the last time Leeds and Millwall met - at Elland Road in March - and under copious pressure expect the 32-year-old to see yellow again this week.
Leonard will be occupied full-time by whichever winger Farke deploys on his flank, probably Dan James.
He has been booked three times this season to follow the ten he collected in league and cup action last season.
Millwall are averaging 2.6 cards per game this season and a vibrant Leeds will test their discipline.
Under 10 Corners - 11/10
The calibre of defender on show at The Den means not only will the game be tight, it should also be short of chances and, therefore, light on corners.
Interestingly, given how strong Leeds are as an attacking force, they are only averaging 3.8 corners per game on the road. Their away games are averaging 9.1 corners a time.
The Lions average over five corners a game at home but may not hit that number seeing less of the ball than usual.
Under 10 corners at 11/10 looks a fair shout.
