Wrexham to win to nil - 12/5

Mansfield Town had made a bright start to the League One season before suffering a 1-0 defeat at Wrexham on 9th November.

That sparked a run of five straight losses for the Stags and their recent form has been even worse, with seven defeats and a draw in their last eight games.

Their solitary point during that lean spell came in a 3-3 draw at Blackpool, where they surrendered a 3-1 lead in the final 20 minutes.

Other than the six-goal thriller at Bloomfield Road, goals have been in short supply for Nigel Clough's men, who have failed to score in four of their last five league defeats.

Their last three home fixtures produced 1-0 reverses against relegation-threatened Crawley and Northampton and a 3-0 loss to Lincoln on Tuesday evening.

Wrexham, like Mansfield, came up from League Two last season and they remain in the hunt for another promotion this term.

Only five of their 17 league victories have come away from home but they have beaten Crawley 2-1 and Northampton 2-0 in their last two road fixtures.

Another victory to nil for the Red Dragons looks a tempting bet given Mansfield's poor form and the fact that Wrexham have kept clean sheets in 11 of their 17 league wins.

Phil Parkinson's men lost 2-1 at home to Leyton Orient on Tuesday but they had won their previous four matches in all competitions, including a 1-0 victory over Bolton in the EFL Trophy quarter-finals.

Oliver Rathbone to score at any time - 6/1

Wrexham midfielder Oliver Rathbone gave his side the perfect start against Orient, scoring in the 15th minute of Tuesday's defeat, and he is an eye-catching price to find the net against Mansfield.

Rathbone has struck in three of his last five league appearances, notching in the ninth minute of last month's 1-1 draw with leaders Birmingham and hitting the target against Northampton and the in-form O's.

His goalbound shot was turned in by Paul Mullin for one of Wrexham's goals in their recent 3-2 home defeat to Stevenage and he should get into some dangerous positions on Sunday.

Rathbone has been particularly threatening away from home. He had four shots at goal in each of the December trips to Burton and Bristol Rovers and racked up another three attempts at Barnsley on New Year's Day.

The 28-year-old has scored five times in 19 league starts this term, making it the most prolific season of his career, and his hot streak in front of goal may well continue this weekend.    

Wrexham to win corner match bet - 1/1

Wrexham had only one corner in their last two league meetings with Mansfield but they should be backed to dominate the flag-kick tally on Sunday.

The Stags are low on confidence, particularly in attack, and they had only three corners to Lincoln's eight in Tuesday's 3-0 home defeat.

That was the third game running in which Mansfield won fewer corners than their opponents, after losing the heat 8-7 at Blackpool and 5-3 at Leyton Orient.

Clough's men took four of the seven corners in last month's 1-0 home defeat to lowly Northampton, who had only 43 per cent of possession.

Wrexham, who started the weekend in third place in the table, are likely to assert far more control and they have had more corners than their opponents in six of their last eight league matches.
