Chelsea put themselves in pole position to retain the Women's Super League title by beating Tottenham on Wednesday, but they are not over the line yet and Manchester United can push them all the way in the final game of the season at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils celebrated their first Women’s FA Cup victory last weekend and beat the Blues on their way to that Wembley showpiece.
So Chelsea, in their last game under inspirational manager Emma Hayes, could be in for a massive test and cannot take anything for granted.
Manchester Women or draw double chance - 8/5
The Women’s Super League is set for a fairytale finish, with Hayes set to leave Chelsea after their final game at Old Trafford, knowing a win would hand them a fifth successive title.
The Blues put themselves in the box seat by claiming a 1-0 victory against Tottenham at Leyton Orient on Wednesday, but a trophy success cannot be taken for granted, with Manchester City still hoping to take advantage of any slip-ups when they travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.
Chelsea have won 16 of their last 19 league games, but there has been the odd slip-up, including in their last game on the road, when they suffered a late 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Tranmere.
They have had to cope with the disappointment of seeing their one-goal first-leg advantage away from home in the Champions League semi-final cancelled out by holders Barcelona, and they face a United team at Old Trafford who will be absolutely buzzing.
Not only did United celebrate their first FA Cup success by beating Tottenham 4-0 at Wembley last weekend, but they are also boosted by the fact they gained their first victory in 11 attempts against Chelsea when they beat the Blues 2-1 in the semi-final.
So while they may not have a lot to play for as they sit fifth in the table, they are unbeaten in their last five league home games, in which they have scored 12 times.
This is very much a game Chelsea cannot take lightly, so the value has to be in backing the home side in the double-chance market.
Both teams to score - 5/6
United have demonstrated their attacking prowess in their last few home matches and had few problems in creating chances in their Wembley victory.
They also found the target in their 3-1 home defeat to Chelsea last year and, while the Blues have kept clean sheets in five of their last six league away games, all but one of those matches were against teams in the bottom four.
United represent a much sterner test than they faced against Spurs in midweek.
Consequently, there looks to be some value in backing both teams to score in this final-day showdown.
Lucia Garcia to score at any time - 5/1
United’s Spanish forward Lucia Garcia looks an interesting price to score at any time in Saturday’s showdown, having scored the goal that set the Red Devils on their way when they beat Chelsea in their FA Cup meeting.
She was also on hand to score twice in the win over Tottenham in the FA Cup final and is at the top of her game, so she is clearly a player for the big occasion and she can make her mark again in this one.
