Manchester United have endured a tough campaign but will be looking to repay their fans' faith by winning their final home game when Newcastle visit on Wednesday.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Arsenal on Sunday, their sixth home league defeat of the season, and are lacking momentum ahead of their final league fixture against Brighton and the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
They sit eighth in the table, two places and three points adrift of Wednesday's visitors Newcastle, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton on Saturday and remain in contention for a European finish.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.
Manchester United v Newcastle kicks off at 20:00 on Wednesday 15th May. The game will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester.
Man Utd's loss to Arsenal was their sixth at home in the league this season and second defeat in a row after losing a 4-0 at Crystal Palace last Monday.
A win on Wednesday would see them draw level with Newcastle on 57 points, with Chelsea, who head to Brighton on Wednesday, on the same tally.
Newcastle drew 1-1 at home against the Seagulls on Saturday and have won just five times on the road in 2023/24.
The pair have met twice this season. After winning last season's game at St James' Park 2-0, the Magpies won 3-0 at Old Trafford in the EFL Cup in November 2023, before beating the Red Devils 1-0 at home in the league the following month.
However, Newcastle have won just one of their 28 Premier League trips to Old Trafford, while the Red Devils have only lost their final home league game once in the last 16 seasons.

Man Utd will hope to have Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford available again after missing the defeats against Palace and Arsenal.
Youngster Willy Kambwala returned against the Gunners and could start, but Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw are again expected to be absent.
Newcastle trio Nick Pope, Kieran Trippier and Joelinton were on the bench against Brighton, with the latter pair appearing in the second half.
Howe may choose to include Trippier and Joelinton in as his side look to secure European football but Martin Dubravka's form means the Slovakian could keep his place ahead of Pope.
