Manchester United got lucky on Thursday as they came from behind to beat bottom club Southampton 3-1 thanks to Amad Diallo's hat-trick.
The Saints played well and the Red Devils floundered but again battled back, equalising after 82 minutes before Diallo added his second and third.
He has been the standout figure under Ruben Amorim, who goes up against another young coach on Sunday in Brighton's Fabian Hurzeler.
The German saw his team go through an autumn wobble but they look to have come out the other side and are unbeaten in five in the league, drawing four on the bounce before winning 2-0 at Ipswich on Thursday.
It is a quick turnaround for both teams but the Seagulls have won five of the last six meetings, including both fixtures at Old Trafford, and will look to expose United's lacklustre defending.
Spirit can only get you so far, but Amorim's side have lots of it and are worth backing to roar back again.
Manchester United to win from behind - 7/1
United's results are improving but debate remains over whether their performances are getting any better, especially defensively, with the Red Devils not having kept a clean sheet since 1st December.
Tellingly, they have also conceded the first goal in seven of their eight games in the league since a 4-0 win over Everton, and Brighton's recent improvements combined with their record at Old Trafford means they will look to start quickly.
They have opened the scoring in their last five away games in all competitions and have broken the deadlock in five of the last six league meetings between these teams, including August's 2-1 success at the Amex.
The Seagulls can punish Amorim's defenders, who are still adapting to his preferred back three.
However, the last fortnight has seen the Red Devils repeatedly find a way to grind out results and they are no strangers to battling back to gain points.
Amad Diallo anytime goalscorer - 7/2
Diallo has been the find of Amorim's early reign and it is indicative of how the club has conducted its transfer business in recent years that the same week they signed Antony for £85m, the Ivorian was sent out on loan to Sunderland.
That move and his earlier loan to Rangers may have been the making of the 22-year-old, providing the opportunities to iron out some flaws, and his recent form has made him almost undroppable.
Thursday's hat-trick took his tally to nine for the season in all competitions and after netting in the reverse game at the Amex, he will aim to undo a defence who have kept two clean sheets on the spin.
It may not be popular with the home crowd, but United could allow Brighton to have the ball and that should give Diallo space to thrive, while he has also shown himself to be handy around the box.
Pervis Estupinan to be booked - 7/2
That style of play brings a booking for Brighton left-back Pervis Estupinan into play and the Ecuadorian is hardly a stranger to the referee's notebook.
The news that Igor Julio will miss the rest of the season is likely to mean lots of football for Estupinan, who has been booked three times this season and committed 24 fouls.
Estupinan can be a delight to watch, with his ability to burst past players before delivering a deft ball to a teammate, and he has provided nine assists in his 71 Premier League appearances.
However, that same energy and exuberance can leave him looking a bit rugged and his challenges can be untidy, with his flying lunge on West Ham's Max Kilman in December drawing particular ire.
It only brought a yellow card, but he had already committed a string of infringements prior to that and might receive another caution from Peter Bankes, who hands out an average of four bookings a game.
