Wolves beat Manchester City 2-1 at Molineux earlier in the Premier League season but they are 20/1 to complete a famous double over the in-form champions at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Manchester City to win & both teams to score - 13/8
Manchester City have struggled to keep clean sheets this season but they come into Saturday's game on a run of three straight victories to nil in all competitions.
However, City were grateful for some wasteful finishing from Chelsea in their 1-0 FA Cup semi-final win before a 4-0 victory over an out-of-sorts Brighton.
Last weekend the champions won 2-0 at Nottingham Forest, whose striker Chris Wood fluffed a great chance when the score was 1-0, so backing City to win and both teams to score appeals when Wolves visit the Etihad Stadium.
Gary O'Neil's men managed to win the reverse fixture 2-1 despite having only one shot on target as they took the lead through a Ruben Dias own goal.
Their attacking injury problems have eased and Matheus Cunha and Hee-Chan Hwang, both of whom have scored 11 Premier League goals this season, should be fit to start in Manchester.
Wolves ended a lean run of form with a 2-1 home win over Luton last weekend and City's last three home victories in the league have come by 3-1, 4-1 and 5-1 scorelines.
Nelson Semedo to be booked - 3/1
Only Chelsea had a worse disciplinary record than Wolves at the start of the latest round of Premier League fixtures so there are plenty of candidates to consider in the card markets.
Central midfielders Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina head the betting to be booked and the Wolves pair are likely to be kept busy breaking up City's fluid attacks.
Gomes has been cautioned in four of his last six league appearances and one of Lemina's nine bookings this term came in the reverse fixture against the Citizens.
At a bigger price, though, defender Nelson Semedo is worth backing to add to his tally of 10 yellow cards in 33 league starts in 2023/24.
Semedo could play on the right of a back three or as a wing-back but either way he looks set for a difficult 90 minutes against fleet-footed City stars such as Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku.
Matheus Cunha anytime goalscorer - 5/1
If Wolves are to get on the scoresheet at the Etihad then forward Matheus Cunha could be the man to do it and he looks a big price in the anytime goalscorer market.
Cunha has had a hugely productive campaign, contributing 11 goals and seven assists in 26 league starts and those numbers would have been even better but for a hamstring injury that he suffered in February.
The Brazilian has been particularly effective away from home, scoring nine of his 11 goals on the road, including a hat-trick at Chelsea in February and a brace at Nottingham Forest on 13th April.
Cunha began the campaign by having five shots in Wolves's unfortunate 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford and he also scored in December's 2-1 loss at Arsenal.
He has converted two of the five penalties awarded to Wanderers in all competitions this season and may well add to his goal tally at the Etihad.
