Kevin De Bruyne missed out at the weekend due to a thigh injury, while Rodri limped off after 20 minutes with a knee problem, although neither were likely to have featured against the Hornets in any case.
Guardiola is certain to field a whole host of back-up players and rest those who were pushed to the limit by the Gunners.
Hornets boss Tom Cleverly has plenty to ponder after his side were thumped 4-1 at Norwich City in the Championship on Saturday.
That loss also saw Francisco Sierralta and Dan Bachmann go off injured during the first half at Carrow Road.
