Premier League champions Manchester City are aiming to snap a four-game losing streak in all competitions when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Their run of defeats has seen them slip five points behind table-topping Liverpool, while Spurs are down in tenth place after three defeats in their last five league games.
Manchester City to win & both teams to score @ 7/5
City are renowned for starting the season slowly before clicking into gear ruthlessly around the turn of the year.
Fans of the Premier League champions will hope that is the case again this term as Pep Guardiola's men suffered four defeats in a row before the international break.
All four of those losses came away from Manchester, at Tottenham in the EFL Cup, Sporting in the UEFA Champions League and Bournemouth and Brighton in the league.
Spurs have caused City plenty of problems in recent seasons, winning six of their last eight home meetings and beating Pep's men 3-2 in a thrilling Etihad Stadium clash in February 2022.
City won this fixture 4-2 in the 2022/23 Premier League season before a 3-3 draw last term and backing the hosts to win and both teams to score looks a solid bet.
Tottenham also have their problems, losing 2-1 at home to 10/1 underdogs Ipswich in their last league outing.
Last month Spurs blew a 2-0 half-time lead to lose 3-2 at Brighton before a 1-0 reverse at Crystal Palace and they look set for an eighth defeat in their last 12 away fixtures in the top-flight.
Yves Bissouma to receive first card @ 8/1
City's injury crisis is easing, with England internationals Phil Foden, John Stones and Jack Grealish among the players returning to training this week.
However, the visitors still have some significant absentees as striker Richarlison and centre-back Micky van de Ven are injured and midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur starts a seven-match ban.
Bentancur has been booked five times in 10 starts in all competitions for Spurs this season and Yves Bissouma, his likely replacement, merits a bet to be shown the first card on Saturday.
The Mali international was cautioned in two of his first three Premier League appearances this term, against Newcastle and Brentford, and also picked up yellow cards in two of his three UEFA Europa League games.
Bissouma was booked just eight minutes after coming on as a half-time substitute in last month's 2-1 EFL Cup win over City and he may struggle to stay out of trouble in the rematch.
Brennan Johnson to have over 1.5 shots @ 10/11
The Citizens have been more generous than usual in defence this season, keeping only one clean sheet in their last 10 league matches, and the Lilywhites certainly have the attacking players to hurt their hosts.
Heung-Min Son, a regular scourge of City over the years, is likely to start alongside striker Dominic Solanke and the in-form Brennan Johnson.
Winger Johnson is a nice price to have at least two shots at the Etihad, having continued his impressive start to the season with a goal in Wales's 4-1 Nations League win over Iceland on Tuesday.
He had four shots in that game in Cardiff and two attempts in 68 minutes in October's EFL Cup victory against City.
The 23-year-old has been one of Tottenham's most consistent goal threats this season, scoring seven times in 13 starts in all competitions, and he is averaging three shots per game in the Premier League.
