Luton and Burnley will be the final two teams to get their Championship campaigns underway when they meet at Kenilworth Road on Monday night.
Both sides are among the favourites to secure an instant return to the Premier League after suffering relegation last season and a win for either in this contest could be seen as an early statement of intent.
Luton v Burnley will be available for viewers to watch in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
The match, which will act as the curtain-raiser to the 2024/25 season for both teams, is due to kick-off at 20:00 on Monday 12th August and will be played at Luton's Kenilworth Road home.
These two sides have followed similar paths over recent seasons, with both winning promotion to the Premier League in 2023 before suffering relegation last term.
Luton won only one of their final 17 matches in the top flight last season as they finished 18th in the standings, a full six points adrift of safety.
Burnley ended the campaign one place and two points below the Hatters and concluded their latest top-flight stay with three successive defeats.
The Clarets did take four points off Luton last season, following up a 2-1 win on their most recent visit to Kenilworth Road in October 2023 with January's 1-1 draw at Turf Moor, and they are unbeaten in the last eight meetings between the two sides.
Luton's last win against Burnley was a 2-0 success at Turf Moor in March 2000 when both sides were playing in the third tier.

Luton are heading into the new season with something of an injury crisis to deal with in defence as Teden Mengi, Amari'i Bell, Mads Andersen, Daiki Hashioka and Reece Burke are all set to miss this game.
New signing Reuell Walters, a summer arrival from Arsenal, could be handed his debut from the off as a result of those injuries, while fellow new recruit, Shandon Baptiste, is pushing for a start in the middle of the park.
New Burnley head coach Scott Parker could hand debuts to Shurandy Sambo, Lucas Pires and Andreas Hountondji, but Aaron Ramsey, Nathan Redmond, Jordan Beyer and Mike Tresor have all been ruled out.
Forwards Luca Koleosho and Zeki Amdouni are expected to be available, but there are doubts surrounding the involvement of Sander Berge and Dara O'Shea, who are being linked with moves back to the Premier League.
