Liverpool to win and both teams to score - 11/5

After making a flying start to their UEFA Champions League campaign, Liverpool know a victory over European champions Real is not essential, but Arne Slot's side will be keen to maintain their hugely impressive form and secure a statement victory at Anfield.

The Reds will also be motivated by revenge against Los Blancos, who triumphed over them in two recent UEFA Champions League finals, in 2018 and 2022.

Liverpool come into Wednesday's big showdown on the back of five straight wins with Sunday's 3-2 Premier League victory at Southampton taking them eight points clear at the top of the table domestically.

Slot has overseen a dream start as head coach, winning 16 of his 18 games in charge, a run that includes home successes in Europe over Bologna and Bayer Leverkusen, with the victory over the German champions particularly impressive as they were sent packing 4-0 on Matchday Four.

Real sit down in 18th place in the UEFA Champions League table after suffering surprise defeats to Lille and AC Milan so far, while Carlo Ancelotti's side have beaten Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund in their other two games.

After the 3-1 home reverse against Milan, Real have responded with consecutive victories to nil in La Liga over Osasuna and Leganes and, while they may be set for another damaging defeat in Europe, they should at least get on the scoresheet at Anfield.

Real have only failed to score in two of their 18 matches this season in all competitions and even with star forward Vinicius Junior ruled out through injury, they have enough talent with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe to cause the hosts problems.

Mohamed Salah to score anytime - 11/8

Mohamed Salah's long-term future at Anfield has been a hot topic in recent days after the Egyptian ace revealed after Sunday's win at St Mary's that he has yet to receive a contract offer despite his current deal expiring at the end of the campaign.

The Reds are bound to be working hard to negotiate an agreement with the 32-year-old, whose brace against the Saints rescued them in the second half and took his goal tally for the season up to 12.

Salah has only netted once in the UEFA Champions League this term, scoring in the 2-0 home win over Bologna, but he approaches Wednesday's clash in prolific form with four goals in his last four appearances in all competitions and he looks a great anytime goalscorer pick at 11/8.

Jude Bellingham over 0.5 shots on target - 5/4

Bellingham has proven himself to be a big-game player on numerous occasions for Real Madrid and the England international can make an impact at Anfield.

Bellingham has only scored two goals this season, but they have come in his last two appearances, one against Osasuna before the international break and one on Sunday in the 3-0 win over Leganes, so he should be confident for the Anfield clash.

Bellingham seems likely to test Reds goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher at some point on Wednesday, with the 5/4 on the midfielder having at least one shot on target appealing.
