Liverpool v Fulham Prediction: Isak a big shot in 23/4 Bet Builder

Unbeaten Liverpool take on pointless Fulham at Anfield in a game which tends to bring out the best in the Reds.

Liverpool have lost only two of 33 home Premier League meetings with Fulham - the most recent five years ago - and that statistical gulf is looking very real right now.

Andoni Iraola's men come into the game buoyed by Wednesday night's 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Fulham, meanwhile, have had a week to get over blowing a 2-1 lead as they lost 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace.

Liverpool v Fulham Tips Summary

Best Bet - Liverpool & Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4
Alternative Bet - Both teams to score in second half @
7/4
Bet Builder - Over 27.5 match shots, Over 3 cards, Alexander Isak 2+ shots on target @

Liverpool v Fulham

Liverpool v Fulham Prediction

Best Bet: Liverpool & Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4

The Cottagers face the very real possibility of losing four in a row to start the 2026/27 Premier League season but they will probably go down at Anfield swinging.

They have matched Liverpool shot for shot this season yet have nothing to show for it and that's largely down to a defence which has conceded seven goals already.

The Reds have scored two goals in each of their four games and they could easily up that.

Take the hosts to win in a game featuring over 3.5 goals. Two of Liverpool's three league games and two of Fulham's three have produced four goals or more.

Alternative Bet: Both teams to score in second half @ 7/4

Only three teams have fired off more shots this season than Liverpool or Fulham, who are scoring goals.

They are also, however, conceding far too easily and as this game opens up the prospect is there for second-half goals at both ends of the pitch.

Liverpool v Fulham Bet Builder Tip

  • Over 27.5 match shots
  • Over 3 cards
  • Alexander Isak 2+ shots on target

    23/4

If these two sides are true to their averages this season then this showdown could produce around 33 shots (they both average 16.7 shots per game).

Even if they don't, between them they can amass at least 28 shots with over 27.5 the first leg of the Bet Builder.

Liverpool's games are going at six cards a time so expect referee Tom Bramall to be busy. Bramall showed five yellows on his last outing (Brentford vs Sunderland) so can show four or more on Saturday.

And finally look at Alexander Isak to have at least two shots on target.

The three-goal Swede scored both goals in the 2-0 win at Ipswich last weekend and this Fulham defence will cough up openings.

Key Match Stats

  • Liverpool are unbeaten in four games, following two draws with two wins
  • In all four games - three in the Premier League, the other at home to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League - they have scored exactly two goals
  • Fulham are one of two sides, Coventry are the other, to have lost their opening three games
  • Under 8.5 corners would have paid out in each of Liverpool's three league games so far and two of Fulham's three
  • Liverpool and Fulham have each had 50 shots this season, though the Reds have had six more on target (18-12)
  • The Reds have been shown more yellow cards (10) than any other side, with their three matches so far averaging 6.0 cards per game
