After overcoming Brighton twice in a week, in-form Liverpool now prepare to welcome Bayer Leverkusen and old boy Xabi Alonso back to Anfield in the UEFA Champions League.
The Reds are flying under new boss Arne Slot with Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Seagulls their 13th in 15 games in all competitions this season.
Liverpool have won all three of their European games so while another three points over Leverkusen is not a necessity as they look to make the top eight in the new-look format, the hosts look set to make it four out of four and get one over Alonso in the process.
Liverpool to win and both teams to score - 2/1
Liverpool's fine start to the season was largely built on a rock-solid defence in the early weeks of the campaign and under Slot they have managed to keep seven clean sheets.
However, there has been just one shutout in their last five matches as Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton, in two different games, have all registered at least once against the Reds.
In that spell only the Gunners have stopped Liverpool from winning but Slot's side do look a bit more vulnerable at the back of late and they could easily have been more than one goal behind at half-time on Saturday against Brighton.
They are also likely to be without reliable centre-back Ibrahima Konate through injury for Tuesday's clash so the impetus is there for Leverkusen to at least get on the scoresheet at Anfield, even if it might not be enough to prevent them from falling to defeat.
Furthermore, Alonso's men have only failed to score in one of their 15 games in all competitions this season so they can usually be relied upon for at least a goal and they have a plethora of attacking talent to trouble the hosts at times.
Florian Wirtz, Victor Boniface and Jeremie Frimpong are among the players Liverpool will have to keep a close eye on and the visitors look well capable of scoring on the night, just like they have in their first three UEFA Champions League outings this season.
Over 3.5 goals - 13/10
There will be a raft of top attacking talent on show at Anfield and it should be an entertaining evening with plenty of goals expected.
Slot can call upon Mohamed Salah, who notched his ninth goal of the season with the winner on Saturday, while Luis Diaz has six in all competitions and Cody Gakpo has five to his name this term.
Darwin Nunez has only managed two goals but did grab the winner against RB Leipzig on matchday three in the UEFA Champions League, while the hosts also carry a threat at set-pieces. Captain Virgil van Dijk is always a danger at corners, as demonstrated by his goals this season against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League opener and last month at Arsenal in the Premier League.
Leverkusen not only have plenty of threat from Wirtz, who has seven goals this term, and Boniface, who has eight, but the German side also possess experienced Czech Republic international Patrik Schick in their ranks, while midfielder Robert Andrich has weighed in with two goals this season.
There have been four or more goals in two of Liverpool's last three matches, while Leverkusen have been involved in plenty of high-scoring games this term with eight of their matches in all competitions featuring four goals or more.
Cody Gakpo to score anytime - 2/1
Gakpo endured a somewhat frustrating start to the season under Slot as he had to watch on from the bench in the opening weeks as the preferred Diaz dazzled down the left.
However, the Dutch winger has been playing a lot more regularly in recent weeks and he is in good form going into Tuesday's match against Leverkusen.
Gakpo scored twice against Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and was also on target against the Seagulls in Saturday's 2-1 league victory.
Overall this season, Gakpo has five goals and two assists in all competitions and he can once again shine in the final third for the Reds on Tuesday.
