A full house at the Stade Pierre Mauroy will be hoping Lille can bounce back from their opening 2-0 loss at Sporting Lisbon, but Real, unbeaten in a 90-minute match in over a year, look like they mean business once more.

Kylian Mbappe has been passed fit to travel back to France after missing Sunday's Madrid derby, but even if the former PSG ace doesn't take to the pitch, Real should still have too much for Lille.

Lille struggled to see off both Fenerbahce and Slavia Prague in UEFA Champions League qualifying, pipping each opponent 3-2 on aggregate.

In Lisbon against Sporting they were seriously second best, conceding 18 shots while chalking up just three of their own, though Angel Gomes' 40th-minute red card didn't help their cause.

Lille need to be well organised, but the firepower Real possess through Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr is frightening - even if Mbappe sits this out.

Benjamin Andre to be booked - 9/4

Lille club captain Benjamin Andre is on a yellow card streak which is set to continue against Real.

The tough-tackling midfielder has been booked in each of his last four games, in the 2-0 defeat at Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League as well as his last three Ligue 1 outings.

Three yellows inside 10 matches earn a suspension in France which means he misses Lille's trip to Monaco after the international break.

But it also appears to mean his juices are flowing just in time to take his frustrations out on Real's all-star tormentors.

Andre was booked 11 times last season, five short of his personal-best tally of 16 in 2021/22, so it would surprise no one if he didn't have his name taken by Italian referee Maurizio Mariani.

Something has to give in the corners stakes with Lille amazingly conceding just 11 in six Ligue 1 matches this season, while Real have piled up 49 in eight La Liga contests.

Real also amassed 10 in their 3-1 win against Stuttgart at the Bernabeu.

Lille, despite playing away at Sporting and with 10 men for the entire second half, only gave up three corners to the Portuguese giants.

Real should dominate possession and ought to win the game but don't expect a barrage of corners.
