After taking the scalps of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in their last two UEFA Champions League games, Lille will now be hoping to bring down Italian giants Juventus at Stade Pierre Mauroy on Tuesday.
As if claiming a 1-0 home victory over 15-time European champions Real on Matchday Two wasn't impressive enough, Lille then went to the Spanish capital and took all three points off Atleti, securing a hugely impressive 3-1 win at Estadio Metropolitano.
That leaves Bruno Genesio's side on six points from their opening three matches, the same total as Juventus, who followed up wins over PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig with a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Stuttgart in their most recent European fixture.
Draw - 11/5
After coming through two qualifying rounds, Lille opened their UEFA Champions League main draw campaign with a 2-0 loss at a Sporting CP side that have been flying under Manchester United-bound head coach Ruben Amorim.
That ramped up the pressure on LOSC heading into their first home match against Real Madrid, but expectations would have been low that they could take even a point from their clash with the reigning champions.
However, Jonathan David's successful penalty on the stroke of half-time turned it into a night to remember for Lille and following that up with a 3-1 win away to Atleti to complete the Madrid double has put them in a very strong position ahead of this clash with Juve.
Lille's impressive form has not just been reserved for Europe, as since losing to Sporting on Matchday One, they have gone eight games unbeaten, registering five wins and three draws.
That will give LOSC both momentum and confidence ahead of the visit of Juve, as will their impressive home record in Europe, as they are unbeaten in their last nine continental fixtures at Stade Pierre Mauroy, winning eight of those.
Genesio has certainly been getting a tune out of his side, but it is difficult to know how Lille will approach this fixture, as a draw would surely be seen as a good result off the back of their wins over the two Madrid sides.
Their 58-year-old coach has certainly shown his propensity to make changes in Europe - no team has made more alterations to their starting XIs across the opening three matchdays than Lille - with star striker David and England international Angel Gomes only being used as substitutes against Atleti.
Lille will also be facing a Juventus side that will be determined to bounce back from their defeat to Stuttgart, which is their only loss in 14 matches across all competitions this season.
The Old Lady have drawn two of their three matches since their last UEFA Champions League fixture - including their thrilling 4-4 with Inter Milan in the Derby d'Italia - while six of their 11 games in Serie A this season have finished all-square.
Tuesday's match will be between two sides that are certainly hard to beat and they could end up sharing the spoils, which wouldn't be the worst result for either team.
Jonathan David to score anytime - 21/10
After coming off the bench to score twice against Atleti, it would be a huge surprise if Canada international David was not handed a start on Tuesday and he is certainly a striker in red-hot form.
The 24-year-old has scored six in his last six appearances in Ligue 1, including in Friday's 1-1 draw with Lyon, while he has seven goal involvements - five strikes of his own and two assists - in seven games in this season's UEFA Champions League (including qualifying).
Lille have scored in their last 10 European home games, if they extend that record to 11, do not be surprised if it is David's name up in lights.
Juventus to have the most shots - 20/21
Despite taking six points from their opening three matches, Lille have been pretty shot-shy in this season's UEFA Champions League, as only one team has had fewer efforts than LOSC's total of 19 in the competition proper and that is bottom of the table Slovan Bratislava.
To put that into perspective, Juventus have had only the 20th most shots, but their tally of 38 is still double that of Lille.
Thiago Motta's side did have less attempts than Stuttgart in their last European fixture, but the German club have, perhaps surprisingly, had more shots than every team except Manchester City in this season's competition.
Juve have also had 45 efforts on goal across their last three matches in Serie A and they should be able to outgun Lille in terms of shots on Tuesday, even if that proves to be a case of quantity over quality.
