Championship winners Leicester City kick off their Premier League campaign with a tough home fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.
Tottenham to win and both teams to score - 15/8
Leicester City racked up 97 points on their way to the Championship title last season but they are expected to struggle on their return to the Premier League.
The Foxes lost promotion-winning manager Enzo Maresca and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, their player of the season, to Chelsea over the summer and they kick off the season without injured club legend Jamie Vardy.
Leicester's recent fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur have been packed with goalmouth entertainment and that trend should continue with Ange Postecoglou in charge of an attack-minded Spurs side.
Tottenham have won four of their last five meetings with the Foxes by scorelines of 4-2, 3-2, 3-1 and 6-2 although relegation-bound Leicester beat them 4-1 at the King Power Stadium in February 2023.
Spurs have strengthened their attack with the signing of striker Dominic Solanke, who scored 19 Premier League goals for Bournemouth last season.
Heung-Min Son notched a hat-trick in the final 20 minutes of the 6-2 rout of the Foxes in September 2022 and former Leicester favourite James Maddison should be feeling fresh after missing out on a place in England's Euros squad.
Postecoglou's style of play means Spurs tend to offer up chances to their opponents so backing a Tottenham win with both teams scoring looks a good bet.
That was a winning wager in seven of their 12 matches against last season's bottom six – two of the others were 2-2 draws – and Leicester's new boss Steve Cooper has some lively attacking talents including Stephy Mavdidi, Abdul Fatawu and Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte.
Dejan Kulusevski anytime goalscorer - 3/1
Spurs winger Dejan Kulusevski proved too sharp for last season's bottom club Sheffield United and he is a tempting bet to score against relegation favourites Leicester on Monday.
Kulusevski scored three goals in two matches against the Blades, including a Bramall Lane brace on the final day of the season, and he amassed 12 shots in those two games.
The Sweden international also looked bright in Tottenham's penultimate league fixture against Manchester City last season, forcing substitute goalkeeper Stefan Ortega into a couple of smart saves.
Kulusevski has been among the goals in pre-season, opening the scoring against the K-League XI in Seoul and notching twice in a 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich on 10th August, and he can make a strong start to the new campaign.
Issahaku Fatawu to be booked - 3/1
Tottenham's full-backs Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie have licence to get forward and join in attacks at every opportunity under Postecoglou so Leicester's forwards may have to put in a defensive shift.
Ghanaian winger Fatawu had some impressive creative stats in the Championship last season, registering six goals and 13 assists in 33 starts, but he also collected six yellow cards and one red.
His fellow forward Mavdidi was booked seven times in 2023/24 and Leicester's attacking players may struggle to stay out of trouble against a higher calibre of opposition this term.
Last season, the three relegated clubs picked up 23 yellow cards and one red in six matches against Tottenham and Fatawu is an eye-catching price to be booked in Monday's fixture.
