With Burnley in the FA Cup and Sheffield United playing later on Saturday, Leeds United can extend their lead at the top of the Championship to eight points if they beat West Brom.
It’s five league wins on the spin for Daniel Farke’s men, with two of those coming against promotion rivals, Sunderland and Sheffield United.
West Brom head to West Yorkshire sat in the top six but on a poor run of form, which leaves them at risk of finishing outside the play-off places.
Leeds to win and goal range (2-4) – 11/10
You have to go back to 14th September for the last time Leeds lost a league game at Elland Road, when they were beaten 0-1 by Burnley.
In 14 games since then, the Whites have claimed 13 wins and a draw, with Blackburn the only team to take points off them on home soil.
It’s now 16 Championship fixtures without defeat, which has left the league leaders with a useful cushion at the top of the table for the end-of-season run in.
Leeds are by far and away the leading scorers in the second tier, finding the net 71 times in 34 games – which is 27 more than Saturday’s opponents.
Farke’s men have scored 15 times in their last five home matches, while West Brom have found the net in five of their last six Championship encounters.
One setback for the Yorkshire club is the injury to influential Ethan Ampadu, which forced him to miss the win over the Blades on Monday night.
The Wales international could need surgery on a knee cartilage problem and that could keep him out for the remainder of the season.
West Brom have won just three of their last nine league games although they have collected four points from their last two matches.
Tony Mowbray’s squad has also been hit by injuries in the last month, with the Baggies recently missing the likes of Josh Maja, Karlan Ahearne-Grant, Jed Wallace and Semi Ajayi.
Ahearne-Grant is the only one of the four absentees that has a chance of featuring on Saturday after recovering from illness.
They can take heart though from the last three meetings with Leeds, drawing twice and winning the other clash, while conceding just one goal. That includes the reverse fixture at the Hawthorns back in August, which finished in a 0-0 draw.
Manor Solomon to score or assist – 21/20
Leeds didn’t make too many additions to their squad during the summer, but one key arrival was that of Manor Solomon.
The winger was brought in on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and has made 27 appearances in the league, chipping in with seven goals.
Four of those strikes have come since the turn of the year and three of them at Elland Road, including a first-minute opener in the 2-0 win over Norwich.
Solomon’s pace and skill has given a real injection to the team in the last couple of months and he also sits amongst the top-10 assist makers in the Championship.
The 25-year-old has seven assists to go with his seven goals, with only Junior Firpo and Dan James (eight each) ahead of him from the Whites’ squad.
Over 10 corners – 1/1
Leeds lead the league in corners won in the Championship this season, with an average of 7.38 per game.
At Elland Road, the leaders have an increased average of 8.76, with their front-foot style often forcing opposition defenders to concede set-pieces.
West Brom, meanwhile, win on average 5.82 per game and their Championship fixtures are averaging 10.44 corners per match.
It’s worth noting that Leeds won 10 corners in their last home match, against Sunderland two weeks ago, and 14 in their previous Elland Road league game – a 7-0 success over Cardiff.
