Barcelona will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when they head to relegation-threatened Las Palmas for La Liga action on Saturday night.
The Catalans have won four league games in a row, a run of results that has seen them climb to the summit, although they could be knocked off their perch if Atletico Madrid beat Valencia in Saturday's 17:30 kick-off.
Hansi Flick's side know they need to keep churning out the victories with Atletico and Real Madrid right in the title mix and another win could come at the expense of Las Palmas, who are yet to taste success in 2025 and have been hurtling towards the bottom three.
Barcelona to win and both teams to score - 5/4
Barcelona ended 2024 on a disappointing note, suffering back-to-back defeats to Leganes and Atletico, but they have raised their level since the turn of the year and are unbeaten in their 12 outings in 2025.
There have been 10 wins, one of those a Super Cup triumph over Real, and two draws during this unbeaten streak and the Catalans have been thriving in attack, with no less than 42 goals scored.
Flick's troops have also impressed on the road over the last few months and they haven't lost in their last 11 away assignments, winning eight of those and drawing the other three, with a 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad in November the last time they went down on their travels.
Scoring goals hasn't been an issue during this away period, as Barca have netted twice or more in 10 of these fixtures, but the inability to keep clean sheets has become a slight concern.
The Spanish giants have recorded just three shutouts from those 11 road matches and while the visitors should pick up the win on Saturday, they may have to do so despite conceding.
Hosts Las Palmas are on a torrid run of form, losing six and drawing one of their seven outings this year, but they have failed to score in just one of those contests and they will feel confident of netting again.
Los Amarillos have scored in 11 of their 12 home assignments this season, evidence of their impressive attack, but just two clean sheets shows the area of their side that is letting them down.
Three of Barcelona's last four trips to the Estadio Gran Canaria have seen them win with both teams scoring, and that same bet can land again.
Fermin Lopez anytime goalscorer - 7/4
Barcelona have no shortage of attacking options to choose from and one player that is available for selection again is Fermin Lopez, who served his one-match ban last time out for the red card he picked up against Sevilla on 9th February.
The 21-year-old Spain international did score in that victory, making it two goals in his last two appearances, and he will be eager to continue that run now back from suspension.
Whether Lopez is recalled to the starting XI is yet to be seen, but he will be a dangerous customer if he comes off the bench and he looks like a solid option in the anytime goalscorer market.
Over 4.5 cards in the match - 5/6
With Las Palmas embroiled in a relegation battle, they will be doing everything they can to pick up points and they are sure to put in some tough tackles in a bid to thwart Barcelona's free-flowing play.
There have been five or more yellows shown in 10 of Los Amarillos's last 11 matches in all competitions, while over 4.5 cards has landed in three of Barcelona's last four fixtures.
An average of 5.19 yellows have been shown in Las Palmas' matches this season, while Barca are averaging 4.30 yellows per game.
It would be no surprise to see the cards being dished out given what is at stake for both teams, with the hosts battling for survival and the visitors in the title race.
