Kilmarnock have dropped into the Conference League after defeat to Belgian side Cercle Brugge in the Europa League and now face a tricky double-header against Norwegian strugglers Tromso.
Derek McInnes' Kilmarnock were beaten 2-1 on aggregate by Cercle ahead of Sunday's season-opening 4-0 thumping at champions Celtic in their league opener.
Tromso are struggling at the wrong end of the Norwegian top-flight, the Eliteserien, but beat Finnish side KuPS 2-0 on aggregate - 1-0 in each leg - in the previous round.

Irish left-back Corrie Ndaba has returned to the club but won't be available to play in this fixture.
Versatile defender Robbie Deas, who missed Sunday's 4-0 defeat at Celtic due to a domestic ban, is available, but centre-back Joe Wright is a doubt.
Striker Vegard Erlien has not played for six weeks and is a major doubt. Six-goal top scorer Lasse Nordas will lead the line.
