It’s fourth against second in Serie A on Saturday, when Juventus and Napoli go head-to-head at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus are unbeaten in all competitions under Thiago Motta and the Turin giants have yet to concede a goal in four Serie A matches.
Napoli lost their opening game of the season – going down 3-0 at Verona – but have won their next three since then.
Despite losing Victor Oshimen during the summer transfer window, the visitors have replaced the Nigerian’s goals with the addition of Romelu Lukaku.
The men from Naples have won three of the last four meetings between the two sides, but this looks a more solid Juve outfit under their impressive new manager.
Juventus to win - 6/5
Having scored six goals in their opening two league matches this season, Juventus then failed to find the net in their next two games, against Roma and Empoli.
Attacking concerns were laid to rest this week though, when the Old Lady fired three goals in their UEFA Champions League success over PSV Eindhoven.
Antonio Conte will prepare to face his former club for the first time as Napoli manager, after the former Chelsea and Tottenham boss signed a three-year contract in the summer.
After their heavy defeat at Verona on the opening weekend, the pressure was already on Conte’s shoulders, but his team has responded in fine fashion.
Napoli have won their last three matches by an aggregate score of 9-1, with that run catapulting them up to second in the Serie A standings.
It is worth noting though that two of those victories were at home and all three wins came against teams in the bottom half of the table – Bologna, Parma and Cagliari.
Juve, who finished 18 points ahead of Napoli last season, won this fixture 1-0 last term when defender Frederico Gatti scored the only goal.
Nicolas Gonzalez to Score at Anytime – 13/5
Juventus' Nicolas Gonzalez was brought in from Fiorentina during the summer, after scoring 12 times for his former club last season.
The Argentinian forward scored his first goal for his new club against PSV in midweek and that will be just the boost he needed going into a big month.
Juve face a run of six matches in the next four weeks and a victory over one of their top-four rivals will set them up perfectly for that tough schedule.
Gonzalez has found the net previously against Napoli, scoring the final goal for Fiorentina in a 3-1 away win in October 2023 and bagged the opener in his former club’s win in Naples in April 2022.
Napoli To Score in 2nd Half – Yes - 1/1
It’s fair to say that Napoli have been a second-half team this season, with more goals coming when the game opens up after the break.
In their opening match defeat in August, all three of Verona’s goals came in the second half.
No fewer than seven of Napoli’s nine goals to date this term have been scored after half-time, including three of the four they bagged at Cagliari last weekend.
In fact, four of Napoli’s last nine goals have been scored in stoppage time, with Lukaku and Frank Anguissa both scoring in added-on time in the recent 2-1 success over Parma.
The only goal Juventus have conceded so far in five games this season came in added time, thanks to PSV midfielder Ismael Saibari.
