Juventus v AC Milan: Prediction, Tips and Odds

Juventus host AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday in a crucial Serie A clash between two of Italy's biggest clubs.

The Old Lady are looking to end a four-game winless run that has involved three consecutive league draws against Fiorentina, Torino and Atalanta.

AC Milan will aim to follow-up their midweek win at Como which built on their recent Italian Super Cup Final victory over Inter.

The Rossoneri’s route to that first piece of silverware since the 2021/22 Scudetto saw them secure a 2-1 semi-final win over Juventus in Saudi Arabia.

But with just three points separating these sides in the Serie A table, this match could have bigger implications for both teams' seasons.

Juventus could welcome back top scorer Dusan Vlahovic for the clash after his recent injury layoff and Portuguese winger Francisco Conceicao will be desperate to start against his father’s new team.

As for AC Milan, Christian Pulisic, Alvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw were all forced off by injuries in Como.

Pulisic is likely to start with Morata perhaps fit enough for the bench, but Thiaw looks likely to be out for some time.

Juventus v AC Milan betting tips and predictions

Draw - 23/10

Juventus are still unbeaten in Serie A this season but, remarkably, they are outside the top four and in danger of missing out on the Champions League next season.

The Bianconeri have been hard to beat under Thiago Motta, who took over the coaching reins in the summer, but they have been unable to turn enough of their draws into wins.

Despite Juventus having home advantage, the draw looks an appealing bet at 23/10. The Old Lady have drawn a staggering 13 of their 20 Serie A matches this season, including seven of their last eight and each of their last three.

Milan have been inconsistent under new manager Sergio Conceicao, drawing against Cagliari in their last home league outing.

With Juventus struggling to convert leads into wins and Milan adapting to a new system, another stalemate seems likely.

The history between these sides also points to a draw, with 58 of their previous Serie A meetings ending level. Their last two league encounters finished all square, making the draw an attractive proposition.

Last team to score - AC Milan - 7/5

Earlier in the campaign, it was Juve who were coming back from difficult positions to claim creditable points.

Motta’s men fought back from 4-2 down to draw 4-4 against Inter at the San Siro and equalised twice at home to Parma to claim a point in the next match.

Stoppage-time levellers at home to Bologna and Venezia kept their unbeaten run going in December, but the boot has been on the other foot lately.

Fiorentina, Torino and Atalanta all came from behind to cancel out Juventus’ leads in their last three matches, perhaps indicating the Old Lady are beginning to run out of steam.

AC Milan, who have had a fresh injection of impetus after the mid-season appointment of Conceicao, are capable of taking advantage.

The Rossoneri came from a goal down to beat Como on Tuesday with two strikes in the final 20 minutes.

They have scored the last goal in five of their eight away Serie A matches this term and may be the side that produces the strongest finish.

Kenan Yildiz to score anytime - 10/3

Juventus’ attacking midfielder Kenan Yildiz could be the difference-maker on Saturday.

The young Turkish star has netted four goals and provided two assists in 20 league appearances this term.

Yildiz is averaging 1.60 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A and has an xG of 2.61, suggesting he's due a goal.

He did find the net in Juventus’ recent 2-1 Super Cup defeat to Milan and followed that up with a lovely strike in the Turin derby.

With two goals in his last three appearances for the Bianconeri, Yildiz looks a lively threat to get on the scoresheet again.
