James Maddison is expected to miss the rest of the season for Tottenham with a knee injury.
The 28-year-old was substituted in the 65th minute of Spurs' 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt in the first-leg of the UEFA Europa League after suffering suspected knee ligament damage, with the midfielder now rated doubtful to be back before the end of the campaign.
Initially sounding positive regarding Maddison's prognosis following the victory over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou issued a more concerning update following his side's 1-1 draw at West Ham on Sunday, stating in his post-match press conference:
It's fair to say it's not looking promising, but we'll just wait and see.
Ex-Leicester City man Maddison has been one of Spurs' most important players this season, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.
One of these goals came in the first-leg of Spurs' UEFA Europa League semi-final clash against Bodo/Glimt, with the midfielder's knee injury looking likely to rule Maddison out of the remainder of the competition.
Should Tottenham follow up their 3-1 win against Bodo/Glimt at home with another positive result in the second-leg in Norway, they will take their place in the UEFA Europa League final to be staged at San Mames in Bilbao.
Fellow Premier League side Manchester United look primed to also reach the final after the Red Devils saw off Athletic Bilbao 3-0 away from home in the first-leg of their semi-final tie.
Maddison has featured in all but one of Spurs' UEFA Europa League matches this term, recording three goals and four assists in the competition.
Spurs' number 10 provided the assists for both of Postecoglou's side's goals in the quarter-finals against Eintracht Frankfurt, with the north London club edging through via a 2-1 scoreline on aggregate.
