Spalletti has already lost Francesco Acerbi from his original 30-man preliminary squad, as he has recently undergone groin surgery.

The centre-back joins Nicolo Zaniolo, Domenico Berardi, Destiny Udogie and suspended midfielder Sandro Tonali on the sidelines.

Gianluca Scamacca will not be involved on Tuesday after featuring for Atalanta against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Fellow Atalanta colleague Giorgio Scalvini has been ruled out of Euro 2024 after sustaining an ACL injury.
