Italy will be looking to build on their impressive 3-1 victory away to France in their opening match of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League when they take on Israel on Monday.
Israel began life in the top tier of the Nations League with a 3-1 loss to Belgium and it could be a tough campaign for Ran Ben Shimon's side coming up against three heavyweights of the international game in League A Group 2.
Israel v Italy will not be available to watch on TV in the UK but the match is being broadcast on the Viaplay International YouTube channel.
Israel are the designated home team for this match but they will be playing at the Bozsik Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
This clash with Italy will kick off at 19:45 BST on Monday 9th September.
Israel are competing in League A of the Nations League for the first time after earning promotion during the last campaign, but they began life in the top tier with a 3-1 loss to Belgium.
Head coach Ben Shimon took charge of Israel only in May and he has registered one win and two defeats from his three matches at the helm.
Italy kept faith with their head coach Luciano Spalletti despite a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign and they made a strong start to this season's Nations League, winning 3-1 away to France, with Federico Dimarco, Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori getting on the scoresheet.
The Azzurri have finished third in the last two editions of the Nations League, losing to eventual champions Spain in the 2023 semi-finals before beating the Netherlands in the third-place play-off.
This will be the sixth meeting between Israel and Italy, with the Azzurri unbeaten in the previous five, four of which have ended in victory, including their most recent success in September 2017 when a Ciro Immobile goal was enough to hand them a 1-0 triumph in Reggio Emilia.

Captain Eli Dasa missed Friday's loss to Belgium through injury but the Dynamo Moscow defender could return to the fold for this one. The skipper would add some international know-how to what is an inexperienced Israel team.
Italy will be without Riccardo Calafiori for this match after the Arsenal defender sustained an ankle injury in the win over France.
Alessandro Buongiorno looks best-placed to come into the line-up for Calafiori, while after scoring from the bench at the Parc des Princes, Raspadori will hope he has also done enough to start.
